Great lap times both off you Brian sorry that I planted my car in the last XXX corner, just didn´t dare to do anything just hope you could manage. That last corner not sure how many laps I had 0,3-,05 sek and at finish line it was ZERO
You seemed unusually off the pace tonight Bjorn? For myself, I didn't get the setup dialled in as I would've liked, so had to go with what I had tested and hope for the best, with Brian showing his normal good, relentless pace as usual. I had to try and get past him early to stand any chance of keeping him behind me and I managed to do that, but then those grabby/grippy track edges decided to get in on the game and allow Brian back into 1st. I pushed as hard as I could and reduced the gap to him by 50% or so, but little mistakes lost me the chance to close up, so I had to settle for 2d. Well done to Brian in his demonstration of cool, calm, unflustered driving (at least that's how it looked ) to take his 2nd win in the series.
Yes my pace with those cars is really bad, and don´t progress at all. TBH I have never been even close with these. So I quit practice or lay time on them . Tonight was a real mess from start to when I finaly ended the whole thing going to pit 5-6 minutes from the end. It was tempting to do that way earlier than I did.
