That was an eventful race. I enjoyed it immensely. Coming back after the T1 incident, at the start, was a lot of fun; however, I apologized to Phil Brown, after the race, for that incident thinking I had caused it, but when I looked at the replay it seems that I had the corner and had left just enough room for a car between me and the barrier. It still could be my fault for leaving so little room. I will say that it made for a really fun race. I had made up lots of places and was closing in on Ken when I went wide at the second hair pin and was spun by a rival putting me back again. I had to do it all over again. I had some great battles along the way and once again thank you to Simon for always getting out of the way. I would like to throw out an apology to Roy as I totally missed him coming up behind me, to lap me, but got out of the way as soon as I could.

Thanks Ken for setting these races up and thanks to all for the great racing! It's a blast and I LOVE THAT TRACK! It looks like it was brought over from Race 07. It's identical and has the same pitfalls if you go explore. Lots to explore off track....:confused:

No apology needed. Letting some one through on this track was extra hard. Add to that the fact that reaching the car that is being lapped at an awkward spot on the track adds to the difficulty.
Like I posted in the chat, all cars being lapped did what they could not to be in the way. And me flashing the headlights when doing the pass was a "Thank You", so all good ;)

My laptop crashed during practice (remains of a windows update). Made it back into the server with 2 mins before the race start. Missed qually (not that that mattered, lol).
I was slightly balked at the crash after the start but escaped without damage and was soon on my way, chasing @Edward Jones as usual. He slowly started to increase the distance but I was going well. I could only watch with incredulity as @Roy Cop started to haul me in and he passed me only 10 minutes into the race! (fun fact - I was practising against the AI at 100% and it took the lead car over 30 mins to catch me!). Does that mean the AI equivalent of Roy is 300%?
After that, I spun badly before the first chicane and fortunatley had time to get turned around but it cost me half a lap in time. As usual, I over-drove the car in frustration which led to several overshot corners and lots of scrapes. I really need to concentrate on driving within my capabilities.
Calmed myself down, had no chance of improving my position unless someone else suffered a catastrophic event, and ploughed on. Tried hard and, I think successfully, to let the lappers through, waved to Roy on several occasions.
I span again in the same place. Apologies to Phil (I think) for scaring you.
Ed finally lapped me when I overshot turn 1, so well done all.
More importantly, my last place in the league table is looking increasingly secure.
Great fun guys. Thank you all for turning up. The regular attendance of the drivers has been impressive.

That was a terrible race, of course that chaos is typical for Pau but today was definitely not my day. Start crash was far from ideal and I ended up in the same place as two weeks ago, but comparing it to Flaviu's destiny, I should not complain.
The rest was an up and down. In short: I passed Ken after he made an error but in the next turn I hit the curbstone you should not hit. I spun and in the heat of the moment I forgot where the ideal line is. Clearly my fault, sorry Paul for being an obstacle and I am also sorry for spinning you around, even though that was not the plan, just a result of you hitting the curb and going wide.
The grande finale was passing Jose and crashing soon afterwards again, just a turn later by hitting the inside wall.

    To give a visual impression.

Posting my fastest lap soon after the last scene showed what was missing today. But I will try to do better in two weeks time.
