In game start time is 5pm Time excel = 8X . With 45min this simulates 6 hrs. of time so we should finish around 11 pm game time ..
Hi, I'm new to ACC multiplayer. I have had it since early access but never went online. Mostly did some special events to get a feel for the sim. Would be nice to team up with someone for this race. To get some pointers for the setup, fuel, pitstop .. I don't mind which car at this point. If you're in, let me know
Great to have another ACC GT3 driver ! Lots of helpful drivers here so I'm sure we can get you up to speed ! The thing you need to master is the pitstops ,this series has a mandatory pitstop that requires a 4 tire change & this must be done when the pit window is open .. You need to map and use the MFD for this . See this post ,it might help you > https://www.simracingonline.co.uk/threads/round-2-nurburgring.3624/#post-29959 Also remember that with ACC ,like the real cars, the rev limiter or pit lane limiter can only be engaged when the car is in FIRST GEAR . So if you have it on and accidently change gears while driving in the pits it will turn it off ! These 45 min races can be done with less than a full tank for most of the cars so you should only need to do the 4 tire change , Im in the 911 ,it has 3 pages for the in car dash info (the real cars multi page dash ) one tells exactly how much fuel im burning per lap so In practice I use this to see how much I might need .. (this can also be mapped to change dash pages) ect…
How much can you refuel without losing time when changing the tires ? Can I practice the pitstop offline ?
From the ui in the pit menu it will tell you how much time selections will take as you add them , FYI for me I have to still tic the "change tires" box even when I have it pre set to change 4 tires ,I might be doing something wrong but once in the race I need to tic the box from cockpit like in the pic I linked you to in the other thread .. & yes you can practice pitting off line ..servers up 24/7 as well !
ACC v1.2 is out ! Meanwhile it is unplayable for me in VR, slide show atm. Seems to be caused by the Oculus update aargh.. there is a workaround on the official forums, so I have to try that.
I'm doing this workaround to fix VR on Oculus Rift. I hope it works and I won't screw it up. It basically replaces the current version with an old one. https://www.assettocorsa.net/forum/...side-for-workaround.61524/page-2#post-1104767
