Hello guys, just an information I want to share with you.
For the next races, Simone Meazza, Andrea Ricci and Armando Ortenzi will treat me and Matteo as opponents and not as teammates, so that we have no advantages in comparison with the other drivers.

Is this the topic for tomorrow's Bathurst race?

Haven't played ACC since beginning of July but wanted to join tomorrow. I registered and it seemed to be all GT3 cars? Or is it just the Porsches Cup cars?

Is there a practice server I can join?

Haha good to know, I did some laps in the Audi LMS :) I'll see if I can find the server and if I can join because of my rating. I have no clue which rating I have :)

All passworded servers are hidden from the main lobby, you must use the search bar thats just above the lobby list .. type simracingonline & make sure you pick CUP or MIXED from the tabs .. otherwise it wont show !

Race day PW set on the champ page !

Reverse grid is set ' Björn Johansson would have had pole having finished 12th but he has unregistered so everyone is moved up 1 , and if we have any no shows things can get re aranged ! so be prepared to see the grid change a bit ;).. I encourage us to just take what we get & try to survive the mountain ~:D..
I have also changed the weather randomness from 2 to 1 to increase the chance of a dry race ! We don't need a wet Bathurst it will be enough of a challenge ! ~!~!:eek:

wow 28 cars tonight, should be fun :) be extra careful on the downhill twisties as the Porker gets very light on the front end and you dont want to cause a huge sh*t sandwich by spinning between the barriers :D

Grrr. Was in a solid 2nd position and spun coming down the mountain. No way to spin turn the car in there and couldn't reverse around so had to quit as it was too dangerous doing a 10 point turn in case someone came around the corner. No way to put the car in neutral and spin the tyres up, so stupid, but i didnt want to risk ruining anyone else's race by trying to do 10 point turn there. Grrr.

Not a great track, no idea why people ever say it's one of the great tracks. Always hate racing it.

To Gavino, I want to say I'm sorry if I punted you after your spun on lap 10. I tried to squeeze myself to the far right of the track as possible.
I felt a contact, but was that my fault or not I can't say without seeing a replay of that.
Still I want to say I'm sorry about that.

Retirement for me too tonight :( Sorry also to Rob if it ruined your race hitting me so hard broadside. I Lost it on first part of downhill when the car compressed under braking. I was off the racing line leaving a car width but you came around the corner side by side with another and had nowhere to go except T-bone me. My car was too badly damaged to continue. :(
Real shame as it had been a great race upto then, climbing from 18th to 11th. Thought it might be quiet down the bottom end but had Laurent and Toni for company  so the 3 of us had a manic climb up the field until we caught Rob then the battle broke up. Not sure which of us was at fault for that tight left contact Rob. I think I had enough of my car on the inside for some space but you seemed to cut across my nose and I span off to the infield. Need to see the replay so not accusing.
I must have run too much wing at 8 as I was getting crucified down that long back straight . Great track but a car killer.

Simply the worst race I ever made.
I was 2nd, and all I had to do was to reach the chequered flag... instead I made a mistake in the 2nd sector and I've destroyed the car.
Don't worry Janne, it's 100% my fault. if I hadn't hit the wall anything would happen.
Congrats to Tim. Very strong in all the tracks, and congrats to everyone for the fairness

Thank you all for the race guys, this is my first one with you and I totally enjoyed that, very fair behaviours and great battles (plus on a great track :) )

That wasn't clearly a good race, despite Assetto Corsa Competizione did the best it can to make my race easier, bringing me to 3rd position at the start with a messy grid. I should have started 10th, but the widget was telling me to go 3rd instead:cool::cool::p, so I was worried about a potential DQ, and I followed the order of the widget, passing the other chaps on the grid. I'm sorry about that, but I didn't see any other solution to avoid confusion at the start.

I never had a bit of fun at Bathurst, and even if I tried to do some training laps in the previous couple of days, I simply wasted my time smashing from the walls on the right side to the walls on the left side of the track, shutting down this damned sim after 20 mins or so. I have quite no feeling at all with the car and it wasn't simply funny to drive. Anyway, I tried to "honour" the race until the checkered flag, but that word "honour" does not fit at all with my poor performance tonight. This one was definitely NOT the VDA night, as I even damaged Gavino with my mistake. We should review some internal procedures inside our team. :D:D

Hats off to Tim for another brilliant victory ;)
Grats to the other chaps on the podium.

I'm sorry for Simon Gymer and Simone Meazza anyway. They seemed both on fire tonight!

Well, it has been half a year I didn't play ACC and I quite enjoyed this one.

Starting from the back here I did not expect a clean race at all and almost unregistered because I thought it would turn out to be a dreadful experience. But in the end it was perfectly clean! It surely was difficult following cars up the mountain which were on different pace and had different brake locations and speed through parts. I had to brake unexpectedly a few times and managed to avoid the car in front.. it was close but it worked out :) Lot's of overtakes and happy to have gone from P17 to P5

I started practice on the safe setup which is quite slow (well 2'07 still) but the braking is just bad. Aggressive setup was much faster (2'06 high) but the braking was too unstable and lacked a tiny bit of front end grip to really push through the mountain. I'd like to give it a shot with a good setup and really push through the mountain. If anyone would be so kind as to share a setup, that would be appreciated :) It's just for fun.

I bought the GT4 DLC yesterday as well and only tried the BMW at Monza (Special event) and that got me sold already. Looking forward to trying the other cars and doing a championship with them.
