Seems my computer doesn´t want to boot. So no race for me, hope at least you guys have/had fun. See you then at the next round.
Dammit ... rFactor2 went to black screen in race 1 . I hope I did not cause problems for anyone. Will sit out race 2 .
unfortunately I was just behind you but do not worry, I understand what happened I have similar problems today again
Good runs. Race 1 had clean run so it was easy when p2 and p3 battled it out. Race 2 got lucky then. We had good racing going on for the win. Was starting to settle for 2nd. Its hard to drive good laps when behind and there was not going to be a clean pass without error. But then the luck came to play and got this one too. Cheers all.
Not a fan of this track, so didn't expect much, so rather happy with two 4th places. Race 1: Rather lonely race, though I got to watch the scrap between Henry and Janos ahead. Race 2: A race of high downforce / low tyre deg v low downforce / high tyre deg (I guess). Early laps, managed to stay in touch with the 3 ahead, but then they started to edge away and Michal edged closer behind. We had a nice fight for a few laps, with a few passed back and forth, but then he edged away and gained over 2 seconds on me. With 10 minutes left, started closing the gap up again (I am guessing due to Michal on low df, he was sliding in the corners more so wore out the tyres) until I was back on his tail with 2 laps to go. Got a better exit from one corner and managed to pass, and was able to pull a small gap through the tight section, enough to hold the place till the line. Not looking forward to Hungaroring (another twisty circuit) either, so championship is Henrys to lose Congrats Toni on the double win, and podium places
A fairly good night of racing from my perspective. Under performed a bit in qually but not a disaster. Race1: Nice & peaceful through the first few corners. For a few laps I was behind Micheal so was trying to pressure him a bit but also, just in front of Micheal I was being entertained by watching Ken attempting to pass a rather wide Red Bull. Unfortunately, Micheal & Ken got together and that obviously gifted me 2 spots but then it was my turn to be behind the Red Bull..haha. Waited patiently and took my chance when he ran wide and I was a for away. Finished 8th. Race2: Again a peaceful start and lap 1, although I do remember bumping into someone at about T4 I think so I backed off a little then started getting into my stride. Ended up behind Jens for a lot of laps but Jens was a lot quicker and pulled away easily. Finished 7th so all good. Regards, Bret
