Sorry guys, sth happened with net just before the race. I even didn't understand what happened on the start, it was terrible, cars were floating around. Decided finish the race after the first corner just to save others cause I had no idea where were opponent's cars. Sorry again.

Btw race pace should be good enough, I think ~1.26 was a real target (although I failed qual). It's a shame that tech issues forced me went out

    Qualification
Didn't get close to a PB but good enough to make it 5 poles out of 5 (yes the stats say 4 but I got pole at Long Beach but then got the disco)

    Race
This was a crunch race for the championship. Such a shame that Fabricio didn't turn up as it was a close 3 horse race with the 3 of use separated by only 3 points. So it was a case of head down and turn pole into a race win. Easier said than done as in practice I had only done 5 or 6 laps without spinning. I'm amazed I'm getting on with this car as usually I struggle in cars that have unpredictable backends e.g. AMS Ultima Road car series a while back. Got a great start or Jim got a bad one, or both. Had a good lead after the first lap and began pulling away from Jim. Was stunned when Jim pitted around the halfway mark. My tyres were still good and I spent the next couple of laps wondering whether I should cover off Jim's move. By the time I decided to just go for it and not stop it was too late anyway. Jim had put in some fast laps and the gap was now 27 seconds. Not enough to pit and get new rubber. Jim lost 33 seconds when he pitted. Now it was a case of whether Jim's new grip would keep him flying and taking chunks out of my lead. Did he have enough time to close the gap? Would my tyres hold on? Will Max win this weekend? Will Fanatec fix my wheel quickly? Will we ever stop talking about bloody Brexit it's doing my head in? Concentrate!!! With 15 minutes to go I was in the red on all 4 tyres and 3/4 of tread gone. This was going to be tight. I had to start lowering my lap times, well I was forced to lower my lap times. Jim was closing rapidly now 17 seconds behind. The penultimate lap I tried to slow so I didn't have to do another lap but I couldn't risk allowing Jim getting close enough to pounce if I screwed up the timing he could get close enough to make a move on the last lap. He was now 11 seconds behind. So I had to do 1 last lap. The tyres were still OK but nearly on the edge. Phew the chequered flag is a good site.

4 wins from 4 events. I'm 7 points ahead with a dropped score at Long Beach. Great stuff.
Well done to Jim for 2nd and teammate Ken for 3rd.
Looks like BVR can take both titles :).

On to Warwick Farm. A track I really like. I almost won my very first race at R2P there only to run out of fuel on the last lap a creep up to the finish line so close yet so far. I'm 7 points ahead of Jim so I don't have to win the race or even finish ahead of Jim. If Jim takes the win. I can finish 3rd. This will tie us on points but I'll get the series win because of my race victories (assuming SRO run a count back system) and claim only my 2nd series win here at SRO. Of course if I screw it up Jim can still win so 'Game On' :)
