My view into turn one. At the first moment, I was worried that I also braked too late, which was the case, but only a bit. The race was the first that I managed to get the start right, to use the clutch button on the keyboard helped to avoid bogging down. After inheriting the lead I had @Jens Roos pushing me. I made several mistakes because I was a bit nervous, and one of them allowed Jens to pass me. But I passed him back after he made an error into turn one. Good fight while it lasted. From then I was soon chased by @Csaba Lako who was faster than me but passing is not so easy here. Therefore it comes down to consistency and I think I was able to manage that quite ok. It helped that I was good under braking into turn one. Later in the race, I noticed that @Ken Jagger could catch up too, the white car in the mirror got closer and closer to the pair of us. And then he suddenly disappeared, which could have been an opportunity to reduce the pressure from Csaba or the other way round Anyway I brought it to the line with a gap of half a second After that what happened to you Csaba in the first rounds you would have deserved the win. Next chance in Mid-Ohio.
Congrats for the championship win @Philipp Pichler, well done! Good race again and the first laps chasing/passing Philipp was great fun while it lasted. Soon my no-practice shows while pushing to keep the gap. However I'm happy to be able to attend and have these fun races almost "out of the box" even if my free time bit strained at the moment due to heavy work load and long days. Being last after getting stuck in the sand-pit, I pitted for new tyres with few laps to go, aiming to set fastest lap. But to my disappointment I also managed to fill up the fuel However, on the final lap I set the race fastest lap with 0.004 seconds margin to @Csaba Lako Never driven this car before and it was a bit tricky, but rewarding. It deserved more drivers attending, thanks to @Ken Jagger for hosting
That's a bit early as there is still one race to go, and I would never count Ken out Cograts to the fastest lap, it is good that you join, hopefully again in two weeks.
