    The Marina Bay Street Circuit, also known as the Singapore GP Circuit, is the second street circuit in a row.
    Where Maastricht was a high-speed power circuit, Singapore is a combination of fast straights and medium to slow corners. A completely different approach in car setup and characteristics. Once you get into a rhythm on this circuit a fast and precise driven lap can be very rewarding.

    I am getting a mismatched error message and cannot get on the server. It reads "Client-Server version mis-match. client 1131-server:1130"

    Are you on rF2 version 11.31?
    We are still on and will stay on v11.30 as it's still a beta.
    If you want to roll back, you have go to Steam rF2 and put beta on "none".

    From the Man, Ken himself. "You've got the latest Release Candidate version I suspect. We will not be updating the SRO server until this is the actual Public Release. Change your RF2/Properties/Beta Tab to "None" and this will reinstall the current Public Release which is 1130."

    For me, the tire degradation is higher than expected. With all the slow corners, I thought it would be less, but it's not.
    On top of that, this track will prove to be more about being careful and concentration than about outright speed. You have to adapt to the tires losing more and more grip and it will understeer more and braking will be poor. And the walls are always close. The race is 90 minutes. Safety first wins. Let's hope I'll remember that :rolleyes::eek::confused:.

    That detroit was good city track, had characteristics and little special things in corners but this one just purely sucks. Its sterile, boring and even those so called faster ones are stupid.
    Got no interest in this track what so ever. It should be banned from all events, virtual and real for making peoole suffer.
    Did few laps, seconds off the pace, no feel into it and yes. Might be challenging getting tyres work all around while maintaining even tyrewear.
    For me, i just fill the grid and drive 90minutes, provably need few pints of beer do put music on and get drunk ( wont be the first so dont worry, im experienced in that and your bumpers are safe ).

    This track is good for contrast. Next time you will appreciate a gravel trap ...

    @John vd Geest Last night I joined a 2h multiclass race in another league with about 40 cars, and we all had freeze every time a driver leave the server, a big mess. They told me that servers freeze when a driver leave the server with a custom skin. Due to the fact that here many drivers have custom skin I think it is necessary to ask everyone not to leave the server until the end of the race

    Very demanding circuit, in many turns you literally kiss the walls, the slightest mistake will pay off. You have to be very smooth with the accelerator out of all slow corners, otherwise you always risk oversteer

    Yet the grip levels are low and it seems to me that this track requires a lot of finesse when transitioning from straight line to trail braking. This for me, is a max downforce track. Should be fun.

    2. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
    Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    1. You run out of fuel in pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
    2. You sustain damage to your car as a result of another driver and cannot make it back to your pit stall. You must prove your qualifying session was wrecked by another driver and that you made an attempt to return to pit lane.

    If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    3. Marina Bay Conditions
    1) The race will start at 09:00 PM (in-game time of course)
    2) Time acceleration is normal. Fuel and Tires are set to normal.
    3) The race will 100% dry.
    4) Cut Track points are set to 20
    5) This race has 100% damage
    6) Pole Points: 1 / Fast Lap Points: 1

    4. Formation lap and rolling start.
    Right after leaving the last corner, we double file in qual order. When the pole-sitter crosses the start line, the race begins.

    5. The pole-sitter will do the formation lap approx. 120 km per hour.

    6. The server password will be changed on race day. You can find the password for the race server on the Marina Bay event page.

    7. If you have to do a drive-through penalty, you have to do it     at the end of the first racing lap.
    That means the first racing lap AFTER the formation lap.

    8. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

    9. No-shows (keeping the entry list real)
    If a driver does not show without unregistering for that event or letting us know that he can't make it on the event forum, he will be removed from the series.
    If he is no longer interested in the series, it's fine like it is.
    If he forgot about the event, he can sign up for the series again.

    (You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the event you can't do.)

    10. You can find the server by first typing sro

    11. Please use the same name in the rFactor 2 game as on our signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

    Exiting the turn 7 is very easy to go over the curb and the white line, but it's not punished with an off track. Is it Ok to take advantage of the "run off area"?
    Same thing exiting the pits the left turn is very tight, crossing the white line will led to a drive through/time penalty?
