Time Zone reminder! The US already went into DST so 20:00 GMT is 1 hour later than it has been for drivers in US Time Zones. EU DST start this Sunday @ Midnight So Euro 20:00 is still the same as before= 8 pm.
The next race (in 2 weeks) and the following series going on from there will be moved to 19:00 GMT (8 pm during DST) to adjust for DST to keep the times consistent!

Hi Guys, as always weather at Misano! Crazy that I had a quite nice race pace. Indeed with the changing weather conditions it seemed that I could have gone to the end of the race with the wets but I never drove that long with wets on a hot and dry track. And once I locked them up, I decided to change tires. Maybe I should have just tried it to bring it to the end, could have been a podium. Nevertheless I am quite happy with 4th position in such a crazy race!
@Rob Milliken: Calling me "driving with a smile on his face" - haha with the Porsche in heavy rain, every corner is tricky as hell, smiling may be not the right word that moment if there would be my cam turned on, and exactly when you sayin that, I spinned ;) - Anyway I love your comm!

btw. - A friend of mine watched the race live - he thought he would be working on his computer and just occationally watching the stream, but he said he was so thrilled by the action ongoing and Rob's commentary he had to watch the whole race! ;)

Was a cool race. Was happily settled into 3rd place for the dry part, but my engineer was telling me rain was coming and I always put more fuel in for first stint to give me options on strategy, so waited and waited until the rain came. Then pitted and put wets on whilst most people had already stopped for new slicks. Was a good decision as I came out in the lead and easily pulled away with wets on. Built a 30 second gap, but then the sun came out again and the track dried sooooooo quickly. With 15 minutes left I was thinking this is looking dodgy to not blow up or spin off on wets and within a couple of minutes I was sure the tyres wouldn't hold out and even if they did I would spin off, so with about 10? minutes left I pitted to put on slicks. Of course this wiped out my lead and put me in 3rd.

Chased down Mark for 2nd and closed to within 2 seconds by the end but it wasn't enough.

Sort of gutting as I had the perfect strategy if the track had not dried so quickly. Perhaps I could have made it to the end on wets. Keep the lead? Dunno, possibly, but I was sure the tyres were going to burst or throw me off. I'LL NEVERE KNOW. Probably should have tried it as probably would have finished 3rd anyway.
