Drivers briefing 1. Nurburgring TT Conditions 1) The Time Trail will start at 02:00 PM (in-game time of course) 2) Time acceleration is normal. Fuel = 1x - Tyres = 1x 3) Cut Track points are set to 3 4) 100% damage 5) The TT will take place during the Qualifying session. There is no "race" session. 6) Qualification is set to "private". That means that you will be alone on track so you can put in your best time without traffic. 7) You are allowed to press Esc during a timed lap and start again. The track still counts the outlap- and the inlap. 2. You can find the password for the race server on the Nurburgring event page. 3. Unregistering in time if you can't make it. 4. Please use the SAME NAME in the rFactor 2 game as on our SRO signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing. You can change your name in the rFactor 2 "Profile" menu. 5. You can find the server by typing SRO or the track name. Add the server to your favorites so you can always find it. Hi John I am wondering about the use of escape at the end of a 5 lap run. That is one out lap 3 timed laps and an in lap? Let’s assume I am lazy (!) and escape at the beginning of my 5th lap because my first flying lap (lap 2) is the fastest and I do not want a cool down lap. I know I will lose a lap but which one is lost? Will it be lap 2 (my fastest) or lap 4 my last lap? My next run is 4 laps and again I am fastest on the 2nd lap. Same thing, same question? Thanks
In that case, you lose the 5th lap but keep all the laps prior. If you go out again on the 6th lap, you can still do 4 laps (1 x out, 2 timed, 1 x in). You will lose the lap in which you press esc. but keep all timed laps prior. Hope that helps
I don't know how you guys can do multiple laps on the same tyres. I've cooked my tyres on just 1 flying lap Track points only take affect in Race session. In Qualify session your lap does not count if you cut just the once.
