Another bad race for me well I say race did not get off the line blown engine on the grid, Did not rev it that much either.
These engines are sensitive but did you use the launch control? It seems to me that with using it, it´s difficult to blow tte engine up. But I was very cautious as well, hitted the gas pedal first at the third red light. In case you´re interested, I made a highlight video from my race, featuring Murat, Edijs, Ken, Csaba, Ed´s engine, Robertos car, Logan and two orange cones/pylons. At least P5 was with my unnecessary error all I could ask for, but it annoys me because the last race without such an unnecessary error was long ago. Oh and I brood about my move against Ken, I´m not sure that it was fair to move direct in front of him, because the braking zone was nearby.
Very nice video Philipp, great racing. Can't wait to repeat at Autodrom Most circuit, hopefully on the chicane version Nigel, this car has Launch Control. Most of us use it at the start. Important thing is you should be holding the LC button before applying full throttle and release it when lights go green.
Just cant finish a decent race in these cars; I'm back on my old pc until I figure out whats wrong with my newer one. Had a fun tight race with Darien until we came up to Roberto moving slowly and I just clipped him in the flat out turn1 ...sorry man!
This was a great race with lots of fair, close competition going on all through the field. AND what a field of drivers? Some well known and less well known fast guys turned up for this penultimate race in the series, I just wish we had seen as many of you for the earlier rounds! I think this proves without a doubt that rFactor1 still has plenty of life left in it, despite being the oldest sim we use here at SRO
