I feel the same way Flaviu. The older I become, the less I feel like racing but enjoy it once I'm in the race. Then, there's practice which I never want to do. If you need setups, just email me and I'll send them to you, not a problem. I hope to see you on track soon

Sorry about talking during the last portion of the race. rf2 map showed all had finished the race. Actually their was one car that rf2 must have not been showing on the track map. Sorry. Will not rely on rF2 map.

Fun race ! It was great trying to hold on to a podium for once lol, in the end, I started to second guess my strategyo_O witch was a full tank with hards. I cruised the first few laps & then put the boost to 3 and started pushing figuring I had enough gas to make it ..and I did! but at one point I thought i didn't.. So towards the end while sorting through the MFD setting up a splash & dash I lost concentration & almost lost the car! after that, I said ^%$ it! & I decided to turn down the boost & try & make it. As a result, I had to stop pushing the last 10 min or so to have enough then with 3 or so min to go I cranked it back up knowing I had enough but it was to little to late ... My Front right was also gone by now and I had a pretty good vibration going on lol ..... so I eventually I lost 3rd to Scott in the Porscha :rolleyes::D .. who had been tailing me the whole race :) ..
At one point early on I was lapping in 2nd place! Only after Phill, in the Ferrari, outbroke himself I think? at the hairpin? rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2021.08.24 - 18.47.27.13.jpg then it seemed like Scott behind me did the same thing?.. or he's was grabbing some burgers from the drive threw off the access road? :p rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2021.08.24 - 18.49.02.50.jpg
rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2021.08.24 - 18.54.21.90.jpg either way in the end he was looking good on the podium .. rFactor 2(rFactor2.exe) Screenshot 2021.08.24 - 19.13.28.68.jpg

I kindly gave Phil back 2nd place some 20 min later, & soon after I gave up 3rd to Scott as well o_O:oops::D ..
All & all it was a good day for me and to grab a top 5 was A nice change these days lol.

It was great racing just too many little slips here and there. Very happy with the race but result sucked!

I did some late offline practice to see if I was 'feeling in the mood' and the car felt good with like 1/ 18 wings, so I registered and jumped online only to find huge understeer, so tried a few changes for qually but still had major understeer in Q. Before race I did a big roll of the dice and I dropped the rear wing a LOT. Thought it could be a disaster but turned out ok. Really fun chasing Rob with Phil ahead. After my missed brake point (and Phils) I slowly closed the gap and kept the pressure on Rob, but I only took just enough fuel for boost1 until maybe the last lap or 2. By the time Rob tripped on a curb, Phil was way ahead, so I just went into cruise mode, and on 2nd to last lap some protos were fighting so I got well out of the way but ended going off and loosing like 5-6 seconds which was no big deal until I noticed Phil slowing BIG time, running out of go-go juice, so I slapped myself for the mistake and I slapped the boost up for the last lap...but came up 2 sec short...

    Disaster is the word :(
Qual was to quick out off pit , going against red light :( didn´t think off it. (to little RF2 experience :()
so had a stop and go. Ok manage to do a couple off laps going 6th.
Well ok , so just before start I fool around with some FOV setting, that was disaster at the grid
I had only tachometer in view no cockpit view. And had not mapped any button for camera and didn´t
know where it was on keyboard ( also due to ,to little experience)
    So that was it :(:(:(

Thank you to Toni for advice about those ossilation!

Hello. Sorry for the late update.

Congrats to Nassim on the GT win and their podiums and to Toni and Ken for the podium wins for the P2's. Of course, all who raced and finished. :)

I had lots of fun in this race. Qualified pole on the last lap, maybe the last minute of qualifying. I think it was just a last minute ringer but was happy to get it.

Race went well. I had fun with everyone racing on track. I think this race could have gone two different ways. Toni and I pretty much raced each other for the entire race. I had to keep it honest or he would just end up passing me. I think when two drivers are going the same speed throughout the race, it becomes hard to pass. I think if I was behind him while racing, I'd would have probably ended up 2nd. I was lucky enough to grab pole which gave me the upper hand on leading and winning the race. We were both patient as well so all in all a very good race.

    Cheers guys.

    Johnny,
