keeps saving my lap times under my old steam name. I actually deleted my old alias profiles from steam and using my real name now. I also deleted user files in my assetto corsa saved games in windows and it is still doing it. I dont understand as I am showing my own name in server when practicing but uploads lap time in other name. Any help appreciated Im now contemplating a fresh install of AC This is driving me mad Reinstalling AC now
Hello ! I tried to enter the server, the game crashes! I loaded CSP 1.77 yesterday, could it be from there?
Just reinstalled AC and entered server with no issues will test lap time upload name later. All working I hope
live server timing on website its driving me mad Ken. Ive reinstalled AC. I uninstalled and deleted all the folders as well as saved game folder in windows. Deleted my old profile names on steam before reinstalling and it still uploads times as "Hairy", before you ask my old name from my counterstrike days. I just done some laps and it stilll shows on ,live timing as old name Im going to give up for now as I usually can figure this stuff easy but just losing my cool with it and its affecting my driving making me slower than you lot LOL!! Going to drop out for now until I figure this out
It's only the Live timing screens which are showing this nickname, which may be due (?) to previous times you've posted with the nickname and LT uses that by connection to your Steam ID, but I'm only guessing. If it is something like that, then somehow it may need your ID with LT to be reset somehow, but again I'm thinking aloud. Your name is displayed correctly on our server and therefore works correctly with our results processing. I wouldn't worry about LT too much I'll look into it and see if I can help figure it out. Meanwhile just enjoy your racing and don't get hung-up on it.
Good start to the race ., ran with the pack for a few laps then made a small mistake while watching the car behind in my mirror. Spun off and lost time. Couldnt get car stable through corners and my brakes lost their bite . Car was stepping out in corners even al lower speed . Spun a few times and lost more time . I tried to get it to run reasonable times but entered pits and finished race there. Congrats to the podium.
Qualifying was a bit strange, it looked like that 2:04 was a reasonable time, good enough for P4. But then many drivers picked up the pace and drove low 2:03. Good job guys, that was way better than at the first Sebring race and caught me out a bit. I found six tenth and that only prevented me to start from ninth. My race was better. I was able to pass my teammates, who were initially in front of me, and due to some misfortune of others I picked up a podium. At the great but unforgiving Sebring track, consistency is key. I am looking for the reversed Palm Beach
