Shame that the other 2 championship contenders were not here, as the race for me was incredibly boring. Started 3rd, attempted to keep up with the VDA aliens for the first 10 minutes and I wasn't doing too badly, about 0.5 seconds off their pace, but then the car started sliding a lot so I started dropping back to 1 second a lap slower. Eventually I was doing 2 seconds a lap slower as the race went on and there was no reason to push harder. The car felt awful and my back was getting worse and even with a couple of half spins 3rd was never in doubt and I had a very lonely race. The top four finished in the same positions they started. :)

I love you guys, but we need more people. Anyone know of any other ACC leagues to join with a good head count?

I was kinda glad for the low attendance...It was hard enough just keeping the car on the track. It always feels so low grip around the track, some laps there were at least three moments!

Got surprised by Larry who sneaked up from the back and so i had to keep watching the gap back which kept me focused. Looked like he mucked up his pitstop though and got a penalty. Hard to then get bored when the car is constantly trying to kill you!

It was a bit sad when thinking back to the last race we had here... Where has everyone gone?

Accidently turned off my pit lane limiter and got a 10 second stop and go:eek:

Sad indeed! And good question, where has everybody gone?

The ebb & flow of sim racing has been like this for decades. It's feast or famine:rolleyes: When covid locked us all down we obviously had more drivers. Now as mid-summer comes to an end & restrictions are being lifted across the globe the numbers are dropping again. That & the fact we only have so many options with ACC / content / it gets a bit stale to some.. Add the trickier car handling ACC has shows you either have it or you don't with this game, thus the big gaps in times & I think the cause some players to lose interest ..
That said we will try & keep ACC going here ..as long as we can get at least 10 on the grid makes it worth it to me .. Look for series 4 to have fewer but longer races for GT3's .it might just be a 4 event series with 2hr races .. Tuesday Night Racing will continue with ACC and perhaps a single-make gt4 series to end the year ... ?
