Welcome to the final race of the GT4 Challenge Brazil! Looks like we might be in for some weather 60% chance of rain towards the middle of the race! Be prepared!! It's known that in light rain, the slicks are still the best option in AMS2. Also, be sure your game is up to date. There have been some hot fix's in the last 2 weeks
Dang power outage for a brief second booted me out I was really looking forward to this race. Looks like the NO stop strategy was the way to go. Thanks for hosting such a fun and exciting series in AMS2. F3 should be fun! See you all at the races
I liked the rain very much, every corner was a little guess how late can brake and my Porsche was on the softer side of things. @Roman Granatovich had over second per lap to every one else but i felt really comfortable when rain started and i really needed that side by side racing without contacts since lately been nothing but, respect. Thx everyone for the series!
I wondered what happened to you Karl! I made a great start and halfway through the first lap I was right behind you - I was looking forward to a good battle, shame it didn't pan out. Thanks SRO for putting on this series. I'm hoping to take part in the F3 series, but AMS2 has been playing up and not remembering my controller bindings. Every time I start the game I have to create a new input profile, god knows why it's suddenly started doing that? Does anybody know any fixes for it? I've heard you can delete the controller file - but I can't even find that file? Should I reinstall?? Thanks.
i had long history of ams2 just crashing on me and fix was to delete the automobilista 2 folder from myFiles or something and it re-created it thus fixing my crashing...
Hi Julian, their are a few things you can do, the first to try is the easiest, 'verify integrity of files' through steam. To do this, fire up Steam and right click on AMS2 then click on properties. Once properties opens up click on manage files then find & click on the verify button and let it do its thing ..it will scan all files and replace any bad ones.. Another thing you can do is delete your 'User Data' folder, then restart the game and it will build you a new one .. this will be like a fresh install and you will have to set everything up again. to find the user data folder go to where Steam is installed on your PC , by default it will be on C drive you can see in the pic the the path is c/steam libary/steam apps/common/ams2 Another fix for controller issues is to go to your PC's 'Documents' folder & find the Automobilista 2 folder open it and find the ffb_custom_settings file and delete it /restart the game and it will build a new one & you will have to set everything up again but maybe they will stick ..
Hi Rob, thanks for the detailed reply! I already did a game verification - but the problem persisted. And I didn't think to look in the steam folder for the user data file - I just assumed it would be in the Automobilista 2 folder on my ssd. I'll try and delete the controller settings and see if it works. Thanks!
