    I found this in the Qualifying results file which might explain why Kiril got a DQ. Did you do the S/G Kiril?

    Grats to Ken on winning the series. It was close on points.

    Totally unexpected by me for sure , having missed the Brno round due to being away. But I did really relish the challenge to secure a decent series position nevertheless. Even though Kiril had his Qualifying DQ, I still expected him to get to the front with his usual fast pace, which he did in short order. I focussed on not making any significant errors which would give him the chance at a pass and was surprised that we both managed to reel in Philipp who in the early laps looked like he would slowly pull away and leave us in his mirrors.

    A couple of small setup changes before Q/R seemed to help with the tyre wear on this car at this track, but I think most of the benefit came from a slight difference in my driving style to try and alleviate the usual problems. Philipp seemed to have lost the front grip after those quick first laps and Kiril couldn't quite get close enough to throw it up the inside for a challenge at either of the two hairpins so letting me off the hook a bit. I was thus able to focus on driving and tyre management without having to worry about defending position.

    The wins in the race and series added the cherry to the top of the cake. :)

    Thanks to everyone who ran in the series and I'm looking forward to running with you all again soon.

    Been there before :eek::D

    They did not feel that quick to be honest, I tried to manage the gap and save my tires. Not good enough, again, but what to expect from my default set up. I struggled a lot under braking because of the worn tires (lock-ups etc). In hindsight, I should have changed the brake-bias during the race, maybe that would have helped a bit. Apart from that, I have not much of a clue what I could have done different. And yes, the worse traction/balance would have been still a problem.

    So I am glad the Portimao round is not rescheduled, because with two engine failures and two races without any tires left it was not the biggest fun.

    Well done, Ken. I could not challenge you properly in this event. That was my first series in rF2 and I had two DQ's. At least I learned something on the way. I still have big difficulties to setup the ffb in rF2 and the sadest part of it is that I do not really have fun driving in it. I will try some of the other cars and see whats what...
    Ken, I liked how you removed the people in previous series from the list for no-showing. We had here 17-18 people signed in and almost every race only 7-8.

    Grats Ken for winning the championship. I only did 2 races and that was enough. The pace was not the problem, but my tiremanagement. Happy its over, looking forward to the follower series with Gt4. Hope to see you all again :).

    I think with my being away recently for 3 weeks I got out of the habit of doing that when I returned, but will restart it for future series. To be honest it's difficult to know whether large entry lists might encourage more participation or adjusted entry lists reduce the attraction for people to register. A tough one to work out :confused:

    RF2 has always been the same with FWD cars and I'm not convinced that the various independent mod developers have got a proper handle on what real FWD car tyre wear is like. Many of the mods seem to be too hard on front wheel tyre wear especially, but I still like to create some different series other than using pure RWD full-on racing cars. It tests our ability in driving something other than the usual types.
