Interesting race... Looked like there was some unnecessary contact and over aggressive driving. Could cause championship consequences! The rest stayed pretty clean, well done to the rest of you. VOD will be up shortly.
good battle with kostas at the end, thanks to robin for letting me by in the first half as kostas was disappearing up the road, caught him and then he pitted but decided to go long this time and try the overcut which worked as I could see he was really struggling with his tyres in the final stint, only setback was some minor wing damage when toni decided to do a slalom down the back straight when I was right behind him on fresher tyres which cost him in the end, its 1 change of direction to block not 2 or 3 and certainly not 4 toni. It was either pass Kostas for the lead or fall back to 5th to give robin the championship and having unfinished business with Kostas after my slow stop in the last race was on a mission, he ran wide at the hairpin onto the back straight and I was through into the bottom hairpin. Well done Robin for taking the championship would of been up there with you if not for my grandfather deciding to die just before the start of the first race, another championship for black cat motorsports!
Worth having a read of this rule... as I think this isn't the first time it's been ignored! https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/sim-racing-online-racing-rules-and-regulations.126/#post-848 Okayama last VOD
You would not have gotten close if I hadn't spun at the (I don't remember where ) and gave the wall a tap. This cost me many seconds and destroyed my tires and from this point on I knew that the win was compromised.. good battle anyway, nice race guys!

Good race guys, Didn't have the pace to keep with the top 4 here, Kostas seemed to have found some extra speed, Knew my only chance would be to let Nick thru and chase him down, meanwhile I had my own issues with high engine temps, had to short shift for 90% of the race, good battle with Matej though. Thanks bud, this one definitely goes to your Grandad. Thanks to Ken for hosting and also thanks to Neil for broadcasting the series.
I enjoyed this series and had some great fun racing with the those of us in the 2nd tier of speed. Ed , Barret and sometimes Ken, but he was usually quicker than us. The elite group at the front were Alien like in speed which was very impressive. I had some fun races. Sugo was one of my favorites. Thank you for putting on another great series and the timing was perfect so I could do the SRO race and then jump into practice for the SRGP FT-60 races. Little known fact, I had been ask to assist with some guest admin work over at CMS to which my immediate reply was " No ", but I reconsidered and was guest admin for a round of their VWSC at Watkins Glen with almost 50 drivers. After that I was invited to help plan the CMS NARS end of year open wheel series. We had chosen the FT-60 and we had come up with the idea to run a Super Formula Championship using the proposed schedule, but SRO beat us too it and announced their Super Formula series, so we came up with a plan B. We switched to the Tatuus T-318 since SRGP was using the FT-60 and I helped with 7 of the 9 tracks we used for the CMS NARS Virtual F3 World Championship. I eventually was guest admin for 4 for the 9 rounds and we averaged just under 20 racers per round. That series ended last Thursday and I am looking forward to all the great RF2 racing amongst multiple leagues and series in 2025. Thanks again to everyone within SRO for hosting, racing and broadcasting. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all my SimBuddy's across the world.
The race results are pending for the moment due to a Protest being received for an incident at this race. Due to the holiday period we are in at the moment, it will be reviewed between Xmas & New Year.
Race results have now been posted. Congratulations to Robin Taylor on his 3rd Drivers Championship at SRO and also to Nick Westy, his team mate at Black Cat Motorsports, on them winning the Teams Championship. A nice double guys .
