I think theirs something wrong with the "cut penalties" for this version of PR. I get a penalty every lap in the same spot no matter how slow or how 'in the middle' of the track I am??

    Is anyone else getting these?

It has something to do with your purple gloves. Yeah, I think so. J/K

Your suppose to make a right on the track right before the crest instead of just going straight and making a left. Kind of a blind apex. :)

Sorry guys my Bad, I made the mistake when creating the vmod for John before I went away. Whatever, it's now sorted and we are running the Short layout.

Sorry you feel that way guys but the track was stated as "Short" on the Event page. Please always query it if something appears not to be correct. Other members have practised with the Short layout, so they could also feel aggrieved if we didn't run it. Most of the track is exactly the same as the other layouts, it only misses out the 1st sector, so its 75% the same if not more.

My Brands Hatch setup with a couple minor changes works very well for me on this layout.

:( I've missed the race start. I thought it is one hour latter. It wasn't.

Congrats to Michael for the championship! Good on you. Grats to podium and finishers as well. These cars are fun.

I'll have to agree more with what Bjorn said but I totally see what Ken is saying as well. Yeah, it is what it is, all good.

Last race, I had a problem, whenever hitting the gas, engine sound would go away the more I went WOT. Strange hearing everyone's engine about 85% of the time on any part of the track. Boredom and panic at the same time but I got through it.
This race, connection lost 3 minutes before the race. Hmmm. Next race? We'll see.

Was watching Stephen's car and enjoying his lines and car toward the end of the race. Good lines but second to last corner of the race, he went wide while I was going wide to avoid someone on my left coming through. Didn't expect him to go as wide as I did. "Bam". Sorry Stephan. I was along for the ride as I wasn't racing anyone lol.

    Good times. Later guys.

    Johnny,

I think I need a masterclass from Philipp on how to get the fantastic start he did tonight. From my car it looked like I was standing still . I always use the clutch pedal for the start to control the wheelspin, or at least try to, but the Alpine GT4 would bog down easily unless I only fed in a small amount of clutch movement to stop it. Admittedly I didn't get it right tonight, but both Bjorn and Philipp seemed to have launch control :) Bjorn of course got caught out using his patented PC2 start technique :D and earned himself a DT, which was a shame for the potential battle at the front of the field.

After fighting my way back forward against Scott, Michael & Rob (great close racing guys :)) I managed to close up to around 4.5 secs on Philipp, but having to push harder than normal, for the last few laps my tyres gave up their grip and I couldn't get any closer. Without my contact(?)/avoidance with Philipp at the chicane on L2 when he braked much earlier than I expected which lost me 9-10 secs, it may have been a different story come the end of the race. Still overall I think these cars have deserved another appearance sometime n the future at SRO:).

no problem Johnny, i had virtually no practice for the race and was way off the pace anyway.

I agree with you Ken, these cars definitely deserve a run out again in the future. Thanks as ever for organising the series
