Sorry mates, once more the flu got me, so i cannot drive tonight. Good luck all, cu at the new series with the KTM X-BOW.
To be honest, I had a headache from this mod. No clue why I was at some point so far off the pace, while on other occasions it was quite ok. Same here, quali was bad and just because of luck or bad luck of others I ended up in the top six. To my surprise, suddenly I found some pace and I stayed there. Thanks for the series, even if it created a lot of pain (also joy, from time to time) I hope with the x-bow it is a different story.
Thank you all for the races and for organizing the championship. Yesterday was a very difficult race for me with some minor but significant damage after the first corner. Good luck to everyone and see you at the next event.
A great end to the championship, gonna go down as a memorable race. In this series I kind of felt like I was in a bit of a no man's land, way behind Roman, while being considerably quicker than the midfield. That's one of the reasons why I'm looking to branch out into other sims for the next couple of series, the other one being the many issues surrounding PC2. Being involved in annoying incidents (cars being invisible on my side), people dropping out, controls being reset, these started me to question the longevity of the game. PC2 could've been a masterpiece with its weather, cars and visuals if cared for, but that didn't happen. Anyway, a great race, with some action in the beginning with Roman, where on the second lap we tangled a bit. I'm not quite sure whether it was my fault, his, or just a racing incident, he was in my blind spot and I was a bit wobbly, but was also ahead, so I guess it's just something that happens at times (feedback welcomed). After falling out I charged back to 3rd in just a couple of laps (sorry for my aggression ), but couldn't close in on the battling pair of drivers. Great race, great series, special thanks for @Ken Jagger and @Rob Milliken for making it possible!
Thanks to everyone who has supported our efforts to create a PC2 sub-community here at SRO. I realise it's not a sim that everyone likes or get's on with, but that's the same with all the other current sims which also have their lovers & haters. With the encouragement we have seen so far, we will continue to host PC2 series as long as our members are interested and committed to running in them.
I did really enjoy this race, and having a very good battle with Roman right to the end, It was unfortunate there was a hard tussle at the beginning with Roman and Viktor and some contact, but I think there was not any deliberate foul play . Shame Gerhard couldn't make it due to illness, but it was good to see a decent field of players. Cant say that I have particularly enjoyed this car but there has been fun on the way. Thanks to all that race and the work Ken and Rob put in. Looking forward to the new series, see you there.
Grats to all finishers and esp. to the BIG THREE! @Victor: Ken is absolutely right, there is light and shadow in all sims, also server errors with dropouts are part of this issues. So i am sure you will not turn your back on this sim forever, join as a guest whenever you like.
I started 7th and managed to get into 3rd place for a while then the car suddenly wouln't react to the steering and I went straight on at turn one. After re-joining in last place I couldn't control the car for peanuts. I think the settings must have reset or went doodoo so I disconnected. Anyways, congrats to the podium and thanks to Ken for setting up the race season. Looking forward to next season.
I saw you go plowing off at T1 Brian and wondered what happened. Very unlucky if it was a controller issue as it was shaping up for some fun between you, me and & Hermann
