Assetto Corsa rt-Suzuka Special Event - Monday November 23

I tried this track yesterday and it is spectacular with these cars, but I always find Suzuka very nice to drive A proper race track this is.
I will check my agenda right now!

 

I play tennis on Monday.. however not sure with future covid regulations we can continue to play.

cool will try and be there for this. Bit disapointed i have to stick with my Div1.5 car though, as its not quite cutting the mustard and only one other runner in the same car (i think). I should have binned it for a proper Div1 car from race 2 onwards.

 

Great port from a great sim. Goes smooth and looks natural, as well as Bathurst

 

Great track just wish the grass wasnt a suspension nightmare lol. Ill be there.

Just wanted to let you know there is another version of Suzuka that is, imo, best looking, closer to the real one, and also much less forgiving with the track limits, particularly at the Degner bend, 130R and the chicane. Because as the track is designed from the SRO download, it looks very likely that there will be much abuse to me, especially at the Degner bend..
Unfortunately, the version I have doesn't seem to be on RD, at least I didn't find it.
Any thoughts ?

 

That wasn't my point actually, I know that we run the tracks without the cutting penalties "on" : I just was saying that this track sums several places where it is too much forgiving control or performance wise. In the reality and to my knowledge, the Degner bend has never been flat like that, and it's well known to be a trap if you throw your car on its kerb. No one would drive on it unless taking a very high risk to end in the opposite sand. Quite the same story above the 130R's kerb even if not as much. About the chicane, it's another problem : it's almost more grippy outside of the tarmac than on it.
The version I have is also looking a bit better, has a tad less grip and reflects more accurately the real track from what I can judge by watching plenty of onboards at Suzuka.

 

Hm there's several Suzukas out there, but this track is the latest version and laser scanned.

 

Yup I get you of course, was just a try.

Edit : It seems I was comparing with older versions of Suzuka, I believe it has been modernised in the early 2000 but maybe also more recently.

 

Maybe I missed something but Jos and me are looking for the server and could find only the Sebring one ?..
