Description
This is the Formula RSS 1979 V8 by Race Sim Studio, a team comprised of members who have been responsible for some of the finest examples of single-seater racing cars for almost 4 years. This car represents the introduction of new ground effects in Formula racing cars in the late 70s, bringing cornering speeds never seen before.

This car features:

-Full working ground effects!
-An amazing V8 engine that outputs as much as 475 horsepower
-Huge rear tyres!
-And most importantly, a lot of fun power sliding the car out of the corners!

How does each race start?
All races will have a STANDING START.

No-shows
If a driver does not show up for a race without unregistering for that event or letting me know that he can't make it in the event forum, he will be taken out of the complete series.
If that driver forgot about the race, he/she can sign up again for the series.

(You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the race you can't do.)

No Esc. on track rule in Qualification
In qualification you can not press Escape (Esc.) while on track (if you crash) and then go back out again.
If you want to do another run, you have to come into the pits first.

All events will have a standing start as original. We will do so without a formation lap.

 

I feel the same way. I forgot to adjust the Formation lap bit. It's a standing start of course

 

Like 50 seconds to grid up and like 5 second after the start you can pick us up. Caitlin Penny goes to the grid and presses Esc & "Back to pits" at the start real quick and picks us up on the camera.

Well, make sure the tyre pressures are green, and not blue or red.
On round 1 the Black Cat County track, you might do well with a high downforce package because of the fast corners and late braking, but also with a low downforce package because of the long straights.
It will be what you are more comfortable with.
Anyway, a competitive laptime will be around 2.05.xxx. But I have seen fast guys doing 2.02.xxx. But then you really have to be on top of your game and know the track VERY well.
