FFS, did a TCR race on SRS yesterday. The driving standards there were disgusting to say the least. Makes me more than glad i can race here and in other private leagues where these antics are non existant. First race i did there 2 weeks ago, there was no problem. Won that one with relative ease. Last weeks race there were 5 of us going for the win and due to a small mistake (my own) i came in 4th. But today was disgusting. Constant blocking others during quali, than all cars dissapearing at the start which had everyone crashing into everyone. And from than on it seemed as everyone tought they could just ram and cut the track whenever they wanted. Fought back from 14th to 5th only to be rammed into the barriers by a guy i had just passed. Finished 8th. Rant over...
I agree it's always a wreckage on SRS. There's not too much to hope for. During the short qualys, even if you make a great laptime they do even better and we have to start from the back of the grid. We can only pay attention to our driving making the least number of mistakes and driving safe. This way you're guaranteed to win some positions at the end of the race. It's not really the charts that are important but your score which is calculated depending on your level of accuracy. You also have another score which is your level of security. The lowest it is, the cleaner you are. You probably noticed that there's the live streaming for each race and many sponsors so in a sense, it can be considered seriously and you will have good results by ignoring and letting go the drivers who make mistakes. SRS is kind of a spot up on your driving career.
