I'll have to give these cars a try. Will see how claustrophic the in car cam is in VR :)

They are good performing and GOOD handling cars, unlike that terrible BMW2002

Just gave them a go.... a lot slippier than I thought they'd be, cockpit is pretty cramped but thankfully view isn't too restrictive.

I see this series starts right after the EU daylight savings time change (last Sunday in oct) and for me in the US DST starts the first Sunday in Nov..o_O:rolleyes: so I might miss the first round due to the fact I have to leave the house for work at 1:00 pm or 20:00 GMT (now), but after the time change it will be 21:00 GMT leaving plenty of time after the race..
This doesn't mean I will for sure miss round 1 , but if I do race, I will be pushing it not to be late to work & if I want to go in without a shower :p:confused::oops:

One piece of information about the 2022 Barizilan stock cars that may not be widely known!
    These cars have Boost!

Boost with rules! For each race, you will have a set number of boosts/presses (map the boost button). For round 1, it looks like that number is 15.
The boost is only available during the race session and will become active after the first lap. Each press will give you approximately 10 seconds of boost. Once the boost is spent, the system will go into charge mode. Once the bar fills up, it is again ready.

It only shows up like this using this hud.
If you don't use this particular hud/speedo you can find the boost info on the dash; however, you won't be able to see the charge rate, a light will turn green, letting you know your boost is ready. The small unit above the lights will show you how many boosts are left. Once you press the boost button a line of blue lights will flash until the boost is spent. Once spent, it will again start to recharge. The button has about a 2-3 second lag time from the time you press it to when the boost becomes active so keep that in mind so you dont end up in a breaking/turning zone with boost still active. Thats just wasting the boost:D:eek:

After a search I found this from Renato Simioni himself.

The Stock Car P2P is as per real series rules, available only in races (small HUD lighting icon on blue boost bar turning white indicates availability); has a 5s delay between driver pressing button and activation; lasts for 15s (indicated by boost bar gradually depleting); allows for 15 activations per race; has a mandatory 100s gap between activations (indicated by boost bar gradually "recharging" until available again). This is the case for both Stock Car 2019 and 2020 as well as the Copa Montana.

As far as I can tell it does not increase fuel consumption per lap/

Aleksander Arefiev has been unregistered from the remaining two races in this series for multiple no shows, not unregistering, no communication etc.
