Are you making the points up now! lol

No clue what happened on the start, I guess 4 of us jumped it so I did my drive through right away.
After that was just trying to work my way up and had some fun laps with Mr. Santos.

My front right was melting and I didn't manage to adjust the tyre pressures during my pit stop and had the same pressure problems in the 2nd stint.
Towards the end of the 2nd stint any little pace I had was gone, don't know what happened but I started lapping 2:01s and just couldn't close the gap to P1.

    Congratulations to our race winner.

P.S. I thought this was supposed to be a 2020 Silverstone but it was 2019, setup was for 2020 so running the wrong camber :(

    lol Correct again!

You won't see any bonus points in the SRO results, they are calculated by FKR and kept until the very end of the 2021 season in a seprat database. ..

Its simple . if you take part in any FKR hosted ACC GT3 special event you also get 1 bonus point towards the FKR ACC GT3 Championship. the special events are all nonscoring fun run events, or one offs' .. However, you do get rewarded for participation with the bonus point for racing that day, that's if you're also in the FKR ACC GT3 2021 championship.
It will all be in the special event announcement thread.

Official Clarification of the SRO ACC GT3 series 1 results.
At SRO we have no ties! When the points are the same the result falls to the next category including both wins and podiums.
due to this automated feature Mark Johnson has been declared the winner of series 1 !
    Congrats Mark!

    Hi All
Congrats to podium players ! and also to all that participate great race with you all. :)
Big thank you to admins for all the fun

Was fun t be a part off the action , chase´d Mark J for a good while in first stint, having a stream off
Aston on my tale. Delgado,Tempera ? Ekins .
Then after the pit stop I got a DT "speed in the pits" again:oops: when will they learn I´m in a hurry when going to pit ;).
It was really a blow cause I got out as 3 a bit after Ekin´s Aston:mad::( well not sure it would have be enough though ,
could see that Santos and Sander was doing better time´s than I could in second stint.

Ps: What happend to Taner ??

I have been cursed by internet provider. Lost connection through the end of Q. Came back but as weird I found myself on the gridas last but no cars around, then pull back to the garage. Then made me wait 100 scnd. It meant all finished. Two races in order I got lost connection. I am really sorry, I missed the trophy in my hand.
Congratulations to the champ and the runners.

Congratulations to Mark, Rogerio and Mark on the championship podiums. Great stuff, you guys were super consistent and deserved your positions.

I had yet another 'mare of a race at Silverstone. I remember when I first joined SRO I took the Merc and loved it and it was great, but ACC seems to have done something to the Merc as it was terrible at all types of tracks...lift off oversteer and horrid on power understeer, just a terrible combination and nothing I did to the setup would cure it. In the end my race I rage quit at my own driving and inability to keep the stupid car on the track. LOL. I wonder if the 2020 Merc is terrible and the 2015 is ok, but after this season I don't think I'll touch it with a barge pole again.

Spent 3 hours after that trying out different cars at the same track to discover they are all better than the Merc in so many ways! Tempted by the Honda next time as it's seems like it could be quick but it is a bit tricky to drive. Looks glorious. Beyond that it will be a toss up between Ferrari, Aston and Porsche as the next best 3 planted cars. Not necessarily the quickest, but I hate the Mclaren and it's stupid rear view mirror that you can't see and terrible engine noise, the Lexus you can't paint in your own colours, the Jag is fun but too lairy, the BMW is too fat, the Bentley far too fat and annoying, the Audi is ok, but I don't want to be an Audi driver lol...did I miss one?

ACC must be doing something wrong because everyone seems to have forgotten the great LAMBOS o_O

My feelings are much alike yours Simon... mostlt regarding this "just a terrible combination and nothing I did to the setup would cure it". I LOVE the Vantage V8 and it runs briliantly for a couple laps and i've managed some good qualy times. But 10mins into racing it all goes bad and after all this time still havent figured it out. I remember the ol'days on GTR2 or GTR Evolution or rFactor when car behaviours would be stable and predictable across all race, besides tyre degradation and having less fuel of course. But nowadays... meh! PCARS has the same issue to me... Maybe it's the 'live tracks' concept or the tyre models used, or this ACC kind-of-suspicios BOP reference on the setup files that are messing the whole thing, but i must agree with Simon, big changes in setup do little to nothing in the driving. Tyres temp is like a mistery to me.. In the past, more pressure would lower tyre temps. Now i have no clue since i've tried both 24 to 26 psi to no change at all. It would be great if someone could share some thoughts about it.
Yesterday got into the server 5min away from start, managed 1 lap, #8 to the grid, not bad. And all went alright untill tyres start to overheat from nothing and i start to loose the back on my own, skidding at every slow corner and loosing positions on my own is too much for my heart ... i might have rage quit too, so sorry for that guys  but i'm done with the aston.
I'll try to find something more stable with half a tank for more than 10 mins, and hopefully i'll be back to season 2. LAMBO is one of my favorite so i'll give it a try!!
Anyhow, BIG CONGRATS are due to the Podium finishers and the Admins/Organization for having this Series of Championships going on, THANKS!!
Next week will see the real GT3 back in action, YAY!!!

PS- just my 2 cents but, i think it would be more even to only allow cars from the same year/bop... i mean if we are trying to simulate rality, maybe there shouldn't be so many different cars available to pick because there are quite obvious diferences.

wow, what a way to finish a good tough series, my first win outright here at SRO :)
For the second race in a row i was pushed the entire 90mins without let up, always someone chasing me hard. I had to be mega consistent to keep my gap and thankfully i was.
I was actually a bit annoyed in qually as i purposefully slowed at the beginning of my flying laps to create a gap to the pack of cars in front only for a Ferrari to decide to gazump me out of the exit of Luffield and then block me for my whole 4 flying laps  Thankfully he was quick enough to put in 2.00's but i was sure of bagging a 1:59 as i was right up his tailpipe for all of the laps and had to get out of the throttle in some corners to avoid contact.
Race start went well, then guess the guys ahead had some sort of contact or jump started as one by one over the next 3 laps they peeled off to the pit o_O Then Tenpura? took too much speed into Becketts and had a tank slapper! Suddenly i was 1st  but i had two other Astons really hounding me for every single lap until i could eventually eek out a 2.5sec gap and get some breathing room.:)
We kept this statuts quo untl the pitstops and once again Mark Ekins pitcrew did a better job and he reappeared right on my rear bumper! He gave me unwanted attention on cold tyres and i really didnt want to scrub them too badly in the first laps. But he fell away a bit after a few laps thankfully and i set about keeping a consistent rhythm all the while keeping an eye on the flying Sander in his Mclaren as know its super fast in his hands at this track. He closed the gap down, but By doing a string of low 2:01s with the odd 2:00 i kept the gap consistent to the end and had that great feeling of winning a hard earned victory
Then even better i read today, i won the series!! Fantastic :)

Same same for me with the Aston.
After some laps, the pace just goes away and it is a strugle in both fast and slow corners. I dont see the tires warming (in the ACC hud, they were always greeen, dont know if this is true).

Said it last night but big thanks to Rob for organising the series  I really like the mixed international field of drivers here at SRO :)
Though I’m glad in the end it didn’t upset the results but I was looking forward to a bit of drizzle or mist in the last round at Silverstone o_O what happened to the variable weather? It was way too nice conditions for Silverstone :D

Ah yes, I knew there was something missing. The Lambos have got a horrible viewpoint from the cockpit, slide all over the shop without ever letting go, so they feel bad, but aren't bad. Don't feel that quick in my hands either. Used to love them in the old GTR2 days mind you! Oh and don't forget the lumbering barge that is the Nissan.

Agree that we should only be able to select cars from the same year/series because that would balance them properly.

Indeed! Not a single wet race. Very dissapointing. Bring on the challenge of weather!

Are the conditions recorded in the results files? There has been a definite change in conditions, maybe not rain but since the variability factor went up its like the conditions were hotter and the car sliding around more, even wit hthe pressures set correctly.

Great series 1 guys! what we lacked in numbers we made up with epic driving by all .. Averaging 19 drivers is not bad .. in fact, I would rather have the lower number with the cleaner racing any day.:D That said as we grow I hope to get a trickle of new ACC drivers. I remember the first ACC GT3 race here at SRO we had over 35 drivers & I think 25 of them crashed lap 1 lol ..we have come a long way! Well done to all of you!
I to am puzzled by the weathero_O before kunos changed it on one of the patches it worked quite well randomness of 2 would give you rain in 2 out of 6 races or so .. now I bumped it to 3 and nothing ..Silverstone actually had clouds & I thought here it might be coming but no ... We will look into this and also into the car restriction by year as mentioned above.

See how the scoring for the SRO FKR ACC GT3 Championship works and how the overall winner is determined in this post!

OK, we will need to do some research on this, sounds like this could end up making a difference but are all the cars available for every year represented? & is there a way to block all the wrong cars without the admin having to jump through hoops every race with the .json files?
Do the cars themselves really make the difference? I read somewhere in the changelogs or at kunos site about the track year affecting the cars by adjusting the bop of the cars by track year, maybe this is what you guys are experiencing with the sudden change in car behavior? could we simply use a certain year only for the tracks to create the balance? This would be easily done by the admin ..
    Ideas?

OK I found this from the master himself, Aris regarding the latest tire model for the 106 builds and on.
FYI the track used for round 6 was the 2020 Silverstone.
    sniped from kunos forum:
DHE tyres are available on European tracks when played through the 2020 season:
Monza, Brands Hatch, Silverstone, Paul Ricard, Misano, Zandvoort, Spa, Nurburgring, Hungaroring, Barcelona, Imola and Zolder.
In Multiplayer, these tracks have to be set with the "_2020" suffix in the server event settings to achieve the same result.

The 2020 season featuring the DHE tyres is playable without owning the DLC, what the DLC gives you access to is Imola and the two new evo cars. This means that when you pick the 2020 season in the main UI, you get the DHE tyres for base game content, and the same happens when joining 2020 track servers.

IGT tracks do not (yet) have a 2020 BOP available with DHE tyres, they fall back to their original 2019 BOP regardless of which season they are played through. Accordingly, IGT tracks also do not have a 2020 server version.

he then followed up with this when asked again:

You go into the 2020 season or a multiplayer 2020 circuit... you get automatically the DHE tyre on all European tracks (EDIT: except for IGT tracks, which only have the existing, 2019 BoP with DHD2 tyres, regardless of which season they are played through). You go out in a different season/circuit year... you get the older DHD2 tyre on European tracks as well.

So this might have something to do with how the cars feel different on certain tracks? IDK ..
