Automobilista 2 1.6 Championship Sprint car quick test

For me it was also very laggy. I saw cars warping all over. Especially in the last corner where cars were jumping all over the place.
I was not on WiFi, but on a cable connection.

Rob, can we get another car for the rest of the series? Like the 90's DTM?
This Sprint car is no fun. It feels like it's rotating on its centre, instead of the front wheels and you're just oversteering all the time.

 

Maybe next race we could try a different host? I seriously don't understand the lag .. we did soooo many beta test and not once did I see lag like that .. maybe its our Emperor dedicated server? IDK but that was not what we have seen .. this was worse than it was a year ago .. very puzzling as it runs fine on the LFM servers with 25+ cars ...
maybe next race we try with player host & not use the ded ..

 

Ya it's very strange.. but thats why we are testing!
Wednesday's race will use the Group A cars! 3 cars to choose from DTM style Audi, BMW, Merc..
Servers up!

 

I sent a ticket in to emperor to have them check the server because this is not normal!

 

This is common, all players had 1 redbar to me, & this was common in all the beta testing with most members stating that everyone was read to them except themselves there are some that will show yellow to green , but we ran tests with pings in the 400 and never saw a lag like that the highest ping I today was a 260 so somethings up with our server, let’s see what emperor says as I sent a ticket in. like I said in six months ofbeta testing. I never saw lag like this on any server and we tested a lot.!

 

Just for comparison, I did a 20 min race on the LFM server with the same amount of drivers in the G40 and it was butter smooth, no lags, no skips or spikes, nothing like our race Something must be up with our server

Just like in all the beta tests, the clients were all 1 dot of red to me ..

Good News! they found that our server was still on the old build, That explains a lot !! lol
It's now updated to the 1.6 ded so we should see a big difference today ..

 

I'm sorry, but I can't find the server. I must have refreshed it 35 times and nothing. I give up.
What is the server called? I'm looking for something starting with "SRO".

 

The server wont be up until 19:00 its on auto start and the start time is 19:00 so you wont see it until just after 19:00

Ok so it appears that our severe is a epic fail so now I’ve just put up a lobby on my PC and it’s an open lobby ( by accident i forgot to password it) For stress testing it. We got 24 in there right now! I’m very sorry everybody but if you still wanna jump on and race we’re gonna do the 20 minute race. you can see without using our server that it runs pretty good..
