Practice/recruiting server up !
The server is open to the public with the intent to find drivers who would like to take part in the 2107 TT Cup Championship & also have some fun!
15 min. Q session & 7 lap races on a loop 24/7 @ Mugello . This will be up until the week before the event at that time at will go into official practice mode ..!
If you have any friends you think might enjoy this type of racing send them to the server and check it out !
If you see any drivers on the server make sure to invite them to the championship ! all the info is in the message on the server !
server name= A1-SRO-Audi TT Cup-MR-sTracker (no pw)
remember simply type A1 in the server search window to find the SRO servers the easy way !
OMG, i'm so bad with this car... 4.3 seconds off pace
But Roy .. it's FWD !! lol dont forget the push to pass ..lol
I've been pushing the button trough the wheel And even you are faster than me
Lol im sure that wont last ! What wings are you using?
Rear is at 0 and front is not adjustable. But don't worry, i'll get it going come racetime.
Hi, where can I view the lap times?
Look just above this thread & see the menu bar on the thread frame , look for the live timeing drop down , then you will see the AC servers 1&2 - 2 is the TT server 1is the WEC ! Select laps from the next drop down to go right to laps otherwize have a look around! It the sTracker page , if you have pTracker installed for AC you can get that exact same page from in the cocpit in AC ! You can check times live and every time thats been done to date to compare!
I'm seriously thinking of bowing out of this series. Its the last day I can put some practice laps in and i'm still 3.5 seconds off pace. I don't mind not winning, but 3.5 seconds off pace is not racing. And I have no idea what i'm doing wrong.
I'm an Audi fan and drive an RS4 in RL, but this TT is sh*t. (or maybe I am)
I see some are doing 1:58s they are not members SRO
I know it is always a good feeling when you win a race, me personally I don't mind if I win or not as long as I have a good race.
There are a lot of fast guys out there Roy.
I have not done any practice yet, Will go on the server tomorrow night.
I found a second, but I think there's not much more to gain setup wise. I'm at 2.01.300 at 100% grip.
I did a lap in a BTCC car to compare times. 1.59.032 And that was with a bad setup. And a BTCC car is normally slower than this TT car.
I'm guessing me and the TT don't match
And its not the winning. Like I said in the BTCC thread, I want to race. If its a good race and the other guy(s) is faster, I don't care about the result.
Its probably frustration talking
The one thing i like about this mod is the racing ! I always had great battles with this car , i'm not that fast in Q or hot lapping & this type of racing keeps the fields pretty close add in the push to pass feature and the racing can get quite intense !! Thats one of the main reasons I started this sires , The racing is so close !
Don't let those alien lap times fool you, allot of those come from the races in the draft using ptp ... I have had my fastest laps in the races sometimes 1.5 better than my best efforts in Q ! beside the series wont be the same without you !!
Haha, you need someone to complain and nag about stuff then Or do you just want the after action reports where it says your bloody fast
Despite what I said above i'll take the start this sunday. Not sure if i'll be home in time for the Endurance race.
I've got a bit of a dilemma. I just found out that i'm to drive a series which has the same dates as the Audi TT cup and the rest of the Endurance series.
Not sure what I going to do.
I can't be there for round 1. I'm outside the house. Have a good one.
lots of overlap idd with other acleague
difficult to find some that are not on a sundayevening
Well, i'm hoping there will be a series on Saturdays to replace the current BTCC series. Seat Supercup perhaps?
For me it all comes down to finding a place that has good ,fair drivers and good numbers on the grid and consistency .. we are still in our infancy here at SRO trying to build our members base so we can eventually have full grids .. All of you are a major part in this endeavor ! without you we have nothing ..there are tons of leagues out there racing all kinds of sim's sometimes something out there that you really want to race but then your already in another series so you then have to decide .. we all want to have good ,clean competitive racing we are trying to provide that here and have been growing all be it at a slow pace but we are growing .. I have had this same dilemma before its tuff some times ,then its kinda like when your girlfriend says shes buzy tonight but then you see her out with some other guy ! hahaha only not that bad ..lol
Nobody is going to tell anyone they have to race or you need to do this or that here at SRO we are all pretty kicked back we do want to have committed drivers and our series signups represent that once you sing up for a series you commit to that series ,we can't always make all the races because real life happens but we commit our selves with best intent ! But sometimes we get distracted by the new shiny things that sparkle .. remember after all is said and done its just a game ... so enjoy what ever makes you happy !
Rob, I have no issue what so ever with this group. I've enjoyed every race I've run here, even the ones where I wasn't competitive. And I hope to enjoy a lot more races here.
All the talk on the other series was that it was going to be a bi-weekly series run on Saturday evenings. Now it was decided by means of voting that it is to be run on sundays, on a weekly basis. In itself no problem were it not that its run at the exact times the Audi cup is to run here. Actually the start is during the end of the Endurance races. Thing is I enjoy myself there to. Its a Seat Eurocup series with a fair deal of good drivers. I've already let them know that moving the races to sundays clashes with my current planning. BTW, great car that SEAT.
And I know its up to myself to decide what to do. For now i'm still inclined to do the races here. The Endurance races were planned before the new series, however I had agreed to do the SEAT series before I posted on the Audi races here. The switch to sundays is what messed up the planning.
Now if only all groups were to sync their planning with mine there would be no issue.
