I don't see a poll at the top of that thread, and most posts seem to be about mods. Should I just make a post there, or am I not seeing the poll?

You should have cast the Axii sign on John to make sure that one would be picked actually

 

I also really hope no Bazza mod will be picked myself!

 

Surely up for a special (possibly xMas?!?) event on this on any of the track you mentioned (Rouen could be the easist to learn perhaps), but a champ on that tracks would surely be a problem in terms of numbers dropping during the season. Driving that Lotus on any circuit simply requires a lot of training to keep it on track, and on circuit like that you mentioned it would make it even more complicated. I'd surely up for a season on more "friendly" (read shorter) tracks like Rouen, Donington 67, Zandvoort 67, Zolder 67, Monza 67 etc, with possibly only 1 final special round on a longer track like that on your list

 

Before people dismiss a great set of cars in the GTLegends GT pack, dont forget it has been allegedly re-built:-

Models, lots of upgrades: (DrDoomslab, Norms, Ben Nash)
- Up to 2020 standards with CSP:
- all cars have (refracting) headlights, wipers, improved shaders, high(er) res cockpits
- many 4k skins added by Ben Nash
- all cars have proper LoD's & 3d colliders for better VR/ multiplayer/ big grid AI racing

Physics: (Bazza)
- Rebuilt tire model + brake fading, rebuilt suspensions from scratch for all cars, updated gearboxes, - dyno curves, improved FFB & AI

 

Was there any other issues than Ferrari's suspension on certain tracks? Oh, just remember one thing, Nissan was way too thirsty, I needed pit every race and first race I ran out of fuel twice, which was nice.

 

yes the BMW Batmobiles had fubared suspension ffb at tracks with heavy bumps, like the old nordschliefe track.

 

I hope those probs are solved now, GTL is my first choice for next series anyway...

 

It doesn't matter, they still suck and aren't balanced for league use.

 

Yeah I was thinking more as a 1-off special than as a Series. But thought it'd be worth throwing up in the votes anyway.

 

I'd also be fine with that. Frankly I don't care about the specific tracks themselves too much as long as it's Period correct. Even the longer ones don't take that much practice, in my opinion. I have most of them memorized to the point of being able to race there after 30 minutes 3-5 laps, you can also use the race as practice and keep learning all the time. That's the appeal of the super-long tracks, at least in my opinon.

But yes, there's a good Kyalami 1967, Old Zandvort, etc etc. So tons of stuff to race them on.
