Munich, Germany - The DTM eSports Championship is back for an exciting new season, offering a more inclusive and competitive virtual racing experience for all sim racers. This year, the championship will introduce a rating-based system, enabling a record number of drivers to participate and compete for the coveted title.

Under the new concept, a comprehensive rating system will assess drivers' performance throughout the season, providing a fair and transparent way to determine the best sim racers. This innovative approach ensures that all drivers, regardless of their initial starting position, have equal opportunities to climb the ranks and claim a spot in the championship.

The stakes are high for this year's DTM eSports Championship, with a substantial prize pool of €75,000, comprising both cash and non-cash awards. The ultimate champion will also receive a unique opportunity to test drive a GT4 series car in the prestigious ADAC GT4 Germany series.

"We are thrilled to bring back the DTM eSports Championship with an exciting new format that opens up more opportunities for sim racers to shine," said Gerhard Berger, DTM CEO. "The rating system ensures a level playing field, while the impressive prize package and test drive reward continue to make this a must-participate and must-watch event in the world of eSports and motorsport."

The DTM eSports Championship is set to kick off on a thrilling note, with registration now open for all interested sim racers. Don't miss your chance to join the virtual racing action and compete for the top honors in the DTM eSports world.
