Good luck and god speed to all the drivers tonight... I'll be watching the broadcast/replay
May the force be with us ...
I will race tonight, however my girlfriend can give birth at any time now (planned for beginning of February). So there is a 'small' chance I have to leave during the race.
Wow... good luck!
Hope the baby has the good manners to wait until after the race
Congratulations, perhaps you may take the way out of the track straight to the closest hospital for birth in that legendary 1967 formula 1 car?
It will be surely the fastest way there... ^^
Wow ... exciting times, Laurent. Best wishes to you and your girlfriend
Kay will be the first race for me, had to update the track to find the server.
Those eagles are way faster than my car!!! OMG, I do not stand a chance.
What is the possiblity of changing the race rules to allow AUTO CLUTCH? I don't have a clutch and can't even program a wheel button on my MOMO.
Didn't realize that. To accommodate drivers who have this issue, we've set auto clutch to "on" now on the server.
To anyone who is wondering about the abovementioned issue by Darrel Kruger;
You may enable or disable to your desire the auto clutch/auto blip (automatic heel and toe) settings through the "PRACTICE" section of your singleplayer menu, where you get to set the difficulty of your singleplayer session, and if it is also allowed by the online server which you would like to join, you will be able to use those settings in online servers as well.
The DNF Series - Mclaren M23
Since this is my own bloody forum, I would like to promote another F1 series that I'm doing in March: The DNF Series - F1 Mclaren M23.
"The DNF Series " is a bit of a joke title of course, but the Mclaren M23 car is a bit easier (although still a hand full) to drive then the F1 1967 cars. The DNF factor comes more into play because of the track selection. But if you practise them, it really shouldn't be a problem. In fact, driving the F1 1967 series is more difficult.
Take the Mclaren M23 out on Bridgehampton for a test, and you'll know how good the physics of this car are.
The Mclaren is a free car from Studio 397 that you can find in the Mclaren section.

Still keeping this actual Mod for later on, would be interesting a series with both Matra and Lotus 33, they have the same power and weight. Sort of an old Formula 2 Championship.
Both cars have quite a bit of skins between them, almost like made for league use.
Im gonna drive donington and Zandvort but Im gonna sit the rest of the season out. I have unregistered from the other races so there will be a mclaren available in those races. Its a fun mod to drive for sure this but with the gpl season in full swing its not very compatible for me to drive both. I will definetly follow the development of both the mod and the league and join in again at some point in the future. But I will in any case see you fine gents at Donington tonight and Zandvort in march as those are awsome tracks to drive.
once did porche supercup race. track was old hockenheim.
baby woke up and was like oooh shit.
parked my porche to grass, carried sons bed next to me,
plugged the milk bottle and
eventually finished 3rd.
Feed the baby challenge!
On that note, looks like birth will be today..
Best of luck Laurent , hope all goes well.
I'm out, my car will be available for the remainder of the series, thks.
I think Im out as well. Between this mod and gpl its not possible for me to switch between the two without suffering in both sims. The level in this league suggests a full commitment in order to enjoy it properly so when I swing back to AC it will have to be an exclusive thing where I only drive this mod and practice with this mod , otherwise I dont stand a chance. Great fun though and very enjoyable so I will watch from afar and keep myself up to date and see you guys again at some point in the future. Best of luck for the remainder of the season to all!
I have started a poll to find out if the majority of drivers want all setup settings to be open for the rest of the series, or if they want the default setup rule to stay.
If more then 50% wants open setup settings, we will drop the default setup rule.
F1 Classic 1967 Series - S2 is open for registration.
This time we will be using an OPEN SETUP.
The forum will be open later tonight for car selection.
I have found a perfect track selection. The Round 3 Deutschlandring track is not released yet. That will come in a week or 2.
Guys, it's gonna be great
I also suggest restrictor or ballast for faster cars (Eagle, Lotus, Ferrari at least).
