Well hopefully when you fire up the PC and go to the Project Cars 2 Servers. Search for SRO and you should see the event server :)

The server will be up in a couple of mins
Kenny must be late home so I'm doing it now.
Search for <<<sim racing online>>> in the lobby. Pwd will be SRO default.

Sorry mates, i am not at home tonight, so i had to unregister for the Monaco races.
    Good luck all!
Please dont let PC2 die, it still has bugs and the setup system is a desaster. But it has good physics, great graphics and nice features.
Maybe we will have a nice series again. (Formula C for example?)

Just a quick message to apologize about not taking part in these races.

I really enjoy PC2 and yes I agree SRO should try and keep it going.

I had issues at work which has made it difficult for me to race during the week.

Really sorry guys and I hope to at least join you for some races soon.

Azure Coast was always going to be about qualifying, so no surprises there! At the last race in Barcelona, I managed to get the setup to work really well and allow me to drive confidently and feel the car much better. The problem there was it all got turned upside down for reasons we all now know.

For the 1st race here, having done a little offline practice to dial into the track, when I joined the server and went almost 2 secs quicker than my offline PB I was totally gobsmacked. I can only put it down to getting more and more familiar with the track as I didn't change anything setup wise. At the race start I managed to hold onto 1st position from a quick starting Paul in 2nd, but I wasn't sure how close alongside he was and made a bit of a clumsy turn across the kerbs as I didn't want us to collide. I managed to then slowly pull away and started to build up a gap until I made an error at the old Station hairpin, losing 5-6 secs in the process. Fortunately it didn't seen to cause any damage and I was able to pull away again until the flag.

At the start for Race 2, Paul got a great start and managed to cleanly get ahead for T1. I assumed I could stay with him, but didn't really think there would be the chance to get past, unless he made a mistake. As it turned out I made more than enough mistakes for everyone and twice lost a bunch of time which I managed to recover. After my last mistake as I was closing up again, I saw that my name was showing in 1st place and thought Paul had dived into the pits, but clearly that wasn't the case. PC2 doesn't give a user disconnected message, at least not that I saw, but he wasn't in the position list anymore, so I assumed he had a disconnect. That was a tough one to take Paul, as I doubt I would've had any chance to make a pass in those few remaining laps.

Overall I really enjoyed these cars and getting back in touch with PC2 again, which deserves more support than we get at SRO, despite it's shortcomings. I just wish I had got my base setup for this car figured out earlier and I could've then provided a stronger challenge all way through the series. Thanks to Kenny Press for hosting this series and of course to those of you who competed regularly and fairly throughout.
