Oh I'll probably crash at every corner but fingers crossed all the others will have had too much Christmas Sherry and I can sneak a good result! lol Snow at the Nords....and a 5am start at work that day too....my brain will be frazzled by the finish. Will also be good to fire up PC2, love racing at Daytona on a 24 hour cycle in this game looks amazing.
Ok, there is a bug with the weather/seasons when using the emperor ded this causes the track temp to be to high for snow, the server manager does not have the "seasons" option that allows for snow. This causes the season to default from "snow" to "winter" with no snow on the ground .. I tested hosting on my pc and it all worked as planned. So the fix is to host manually from within the game which allows you to set the season to "snow" which was the whole idea here. The only prob is that we then have no result file ..BUT with only a handful of drivers taking part, I will Host the event on my pc and manually add the results from the final screenshot like I used to have to in the beginning with PC2 .. I will match the server name and Practice will start at 19:00 GMT (60 min ...) So to practice go offline and set track to Nurb combined, the date (Dec 23rd, 2023), and then the season to "snow" with 4 weather presets "heavy snow", "blizzard" "heavy snow", "blizzard" The current sro ded server is wrong and will have you on the pavement with snow falling , you will need to practice on snow to be prepared Or just wing it like me and hope for the best
prob not ... but I could be! A few extra notes: fuel usage is OFF due to the fact these cars will only hold enough for barely 2 laps .. And the damage is 'Visual only' so we can all finish, regardless of parts hanging lol
