Race 3 is coming up in a 3 weeks, so can I get an idea of how many of you will be running? date: Wednesday 12 December car: Stockcar V8 2017 track: Bathurst 2010 time-practice: 19:30 UTC (19:30 London, 20:30 CET, 14:30 EST) time-qualification: 20:30 UTC time-warmup: 20:45 UTC time-race: 20:50 UTC race-laps: 26 Laps starting-procedure: Standing server-name-2: ACCrace3_SRGP_S2 server-password: ACC2018 liveracer-url: https://simracing-gp.net/hosted-1 Server [A] : https://simracing-gp.net/hosted-1/event-5/practice Server : https://simracing-gp.net/hosted-1/event-6/practice Track links : Bathurst 2010 v2.0 by P.Giranthon https://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/bathurst.9491/download?version=38768
Hi Ken, you can count on me. With a very small question sign. I will keep you informed if I sign out.
Hi guys, is it too late to show an interest in these events? If not I would like to participate, seems that our community still has a need for drivers.
You are more than welcome to join the SRO team Philipp. With various issues occuring for many of those originally interested in running this series,it has been difficult for us to field a decent size team (4+) Check out the earlier posts in this thread and if you want to run for SRO, go to the AMD Community Discord channel and make a post saying you will be running for SRO.
Did as first test on the server, seems that some of us have an advantage because we already know Bathurst. (The brazilian Stock Car is a bit slower but not that diffrent to the V8) I would like to "sign" up for the first race, as wednesday was the last weeks the Automobilista day that suits as well
So Toni Talvitie, Nick Lawrence, Karl Steeg, Tiaan Swart, Matheus Marçal & Taner Selvi will you be running in this event?
The current standings after the first 2 rounds are viewable here http://81.169.217.233:8000/championships/championship?cid=3 Sadly although I was away and could not attend, none of the SRO registered drivers raced at Round 2. Hopefully we can improve on that next week.
Oh dear I just realised that Ken and I aim to do two races in succession. Probably not the wisest thing to do
Congratulation Ken and Philipp. Good race guys. I made a mistake in lap 2 or 3 and all my focus was ................ gone Than in pit I stall the engine and took me almost 10 seconds to start it again
Thanks Flaviu and also congrats Ken, I did not expected you to overtake me after the start. Mine was not that poor but very careful and then Ken up to four drivers past me. In the end there is a lot of room for improvement, I played the long game this time and it worked because I had no major crash. But my pit strategy was questionable and my usage of P2P too. That cost me a better position but on the other hand, regarding personal best, I was only 26fastest on the sever P9 is ok. Nice event though, I really hope that our squad can enter the the Top 8 as next target
Overall I think we presented a decent team result for SRO guys Some of those other guys are AMS specialists so it's hard to roll them over! When I joined the server before Qual and went out on track, my car felt TERRIBLE and I was checking the setup I had created and my wheel settings because it was like driving a different car. Something changed when we switched to Qual and it seemed to be back to how it had been 2 hrs earlier, so I've no idea what had happened. I did get a great start and slotted in between the two cars ahead on the grid and then got a nice exit on the inside of T1 which let me sneak past you Philipp Somehow I then found myself in 8th and was having a good fight with Rob Thompson, but the car twitched coming out of T2 and I couldn't stop it from going into the barrier. The steering was knocked out of true so I had a couple of problems then in the next two turns, losing 4 places until I got used to driving with the wheel off-centre. As I got used to it I decided to avoid any repairs and just take fuel(no tyres) in an effort to make up places, which ultimately worked, even after adding a bit more damage to the car before the end
With a lesser number of drivers attending from SRO, by comparison with other Leagues, we are trailing in the standings. But there are plenty of races left for us to catch up and the competition has been fun so far http://81.169.217.233:8000/championships/championship?cid=3
Race 3 is next Sunday, which I personally will not be able to make, so can those members who intend to race please confirm here, so that I can let the organisers know what the expected attendance will be from SRO. date: Sunday 13th January car: MCR 2000 track: Oulton Park time-practice: 19:00 GMT (19:00 London, 20:00 CET, 14:00 EST) time-qualification: 20:00 GMT time-warmup: 20:10 GMT time-race: 20:15 GMT race-laps: TBA starting-procedure: Standing server-name-1: ACCrace4_PRC_S1 server-name-2: ACCrace4_PRC_S2 server-password: ACC2018 livetiming-url: http://phoenixracingclub.net/index.php/live-timing-results/results EDIT SRO have been allocated Team skins from in-game MCR Teams 10, 11 & 12 and we will be racing on Server #1
