Hi guys and gals, I've joined up in the hope to gain some knowledge before I dive into sim racing. I'm 45 years old, kids are almost grown up and I'm considering sim racing as a new hobby.

I was doing hillclimb races in real life with a Ford Escort II RS2000 Group H for 7 years and have been playing in a band for more than 30 years - also I am building most of my stuff by myself and so e.g. tube amps in the past (https://stones-amp-inn.de)

I have to agree .... a veteran in every way (liked the telemetry viewer of GP2 a lot) and yes, if it comes to tube amps - they have to be heavy (now it goes to eleven ... it's one louder isn't it ;-) )

Single Class, both Multi-Class are certainly enjoyable as well.

Touring cars & GT's.

Nordschleife (AC) & GP circuit (ACC), Zolder (ACC), Watkins Glen.

Preference for 20-60 minute races.

I've started out with messing around on Dirt 2.0, slowly transitioning over to Sim Racing over the course of a year on and off.

GMT+1, or GMT-6 depending on my work shifts.
