    After much discussion following the Interlagos race, it was confirmed by all involved that ABS 1=HIGH & ABS 9=LOW, so going "up" to 6 reduced the ABS intervention effect.

    Given the fact that on 90% of left corners your steering wheel is turned right and vice versa, how can I blame you?!? :D:D:D

    I guess that this car is simply a b*****d thing to be driven on the edge from start to finish line. But I still find better with more electronics than Tim. He doesn't use TC, I do. He use less ABS, I use max ABS pulling on that pedal to floor for the most part of the braking, releasing (moduling) it only in the final part of the braking. You should check your brake pedal linearity as I stated previously and find which set suits better your braking style. It's painful I know... but no pain no gain :D. You should focus on a simple fact: you're playing a GAME that pretends to be a simulator... but it's simply full of bugs. I rather call it a simulator surrogate. However, playing at games like RaceRoom lately is much more worse, as it looks like a ski simulation :confused::confused::D. ACC is an extreme excel sheet full of parameters that will cause you a bad headache to find the magic numbers........................
    Said that, ABS on AC is something hilarious... If you try the BMW DTM 90's it will work well for a lap an a half, then you'll start to experience brake fading at a point that ABS is simply useless. So it's better not to use it and do the work of human ABS.
    On Cayman max ABS works surely better in my experience, but you have to go brutal on that pedal. I almost use it to keep my left hamstrings trained squeezing that rubber pad at the end of the brake pedal run of my G29:D. Then I saw Jos braking with right foot in his videos and I bet he lose some milliseconds before the "transaction" from throttle to brake pedal, and in a car like this will cost you more braking space. It's an eternal struggle between simulation and performance, but I have an "Iveco daily" cockpit style with no space to stretch my legs and drive like I would do on a real car. :rolleyes:

    Can anybody please send me a link to the replay for Race 2? Because I didn't race it and left after the start, I didn't capture it and now need to review it.

    I have a feeling this might actually be accurate - the Merc is much much worse. You have to remember that an ABS system uses pumps, servos and valves - as these get hotter they become less effective, they also heat the (already really hot) brake fluid further. Those DTM cars are some of the first to really be allowed to use ABS to that high a level, and were pretty much using road car grade equipment once away from the brake disks, pads and calipers. I remember driving early 90's cars with ABS and the systems were ****** terrible! Hell, my 2005 Legacy feels like a bomb going off when it triggers but still isn't much better :D

    @Ken Jagger
    Franz has put a link up in the previous page with the replays.

    It appears that there is a problem with AC displaying replays as if they are a night race. Personally I've never experienced this since AC was released, all my replays have been normal. But I DL Franz's 2nd race replay and it shows like this. I've tried the two suggestions made on the web about running it through to the end and/or saving the replay again, but neither work. o_O:confused:

    My replay is gone after yesterday training session with DTM on AC. No way to recover it:(

    I've tested this one and, in my system, shows a bright day: https://mega.nz/file/sPhUBRpA#Lx2cX3ccYhl6fO3LJ6eudvY1BEuQNOCMiCeN-R3yA0E

    Hm, that's weird.
    I am using the lowest quality settings for recording to reduce the size of the replay. Also, I use content manager with the custom shaders patch, maybe there is some black magic going on in the background?¿ Both replays look 'normal' on my system (with content manager, and default launcher).
    Is it night only in the second replay?

    Custom Shaders were mentioned in web posts about the problem, so maybe that's it.
