Did you buy a normal version or Deluxe edition? Deluxe edition has all the DLCs.
You can find all the DLC's on STEAM … Cool things about PC2 is it lets players race still even if they don't have the DLC , as long as there's other non DLC cars on the server to choose from ..
I don't have any dlc
Just checked and confirmed I have all the DLC. When are we gonna race, Rob?
The longer before the next season starts and the more I'm getting sucked into iRacing.
Ohh Nooo don't let the cooperate money sponge get you !!I wouild go AC or rf2 b4 Ir ..we have some great championships starting up with those sims .. Chk whats up on the champ page .
As for PC2 Im struggling with what to run next.. This sim has features that the others don't .. And they have a good selection of cars .. I want to take advantage of what this sim does -weather/day night ectt.. things that other sims just don't have or if they do have (rf2) its not what I would consider cutting edge lol ..
Trying to pick something that will fill the grids other than GT3 is tough with this sim tho .. Some of the road cars are well done ,other not so much , the DLC cars all seem good to me ! Now with a DTM series starting with rf2 , historic F1 with AC , as well as the Ginetta Supercup & TT's on going , Kennys PC2 Fridays are now over(except for the make up race next Friday at 22:00)
So what to run ?? I would love to do a rallycross style series in all kinds of weather & snow ectt.. but if you want the rally cross tracks for a series they don't have pits and have a max of 6 players and no practice or Q sessions = join the lobby -host votes to start & your on the grid .. They have a few tracks like Brands that have the off road section with pits stalls that do let you have a practice & Q session and 24 car grid but only a couple tracks for that ..
Some of the DLC cars are really good ! one of my faves is this baby >
The 924 has a great feel but thers ony one car in the class that's not DLC so anyone wanting to race w/o the dlc would have the BMW M1only to chose from ..
Another great car is the vintage Ferrari 250 GT , take this baby for a spin !
Then we have the vintage Touring GT A class with some great cars (the Z28 is super fun)
This series has an equal mix for DLC & default cars ..
Keep in mind Im thinking short tracks and 20 - 30 min races with these style cars (shorter for rally cross) ..
To take advantage of the weather and day/night the game has a plethora of endurance options with more LMP style cars than I can count ,some (the 2016 lmp ) are all DLC .. but as good as they are we have had low numbers with these style protos . it seems we have 3-6 drivers that LOVE them to death and will race nothing else if possible . but that's not enough to support a series ..
So … we need help ..
would anyone show up for any of these I mentioned?
WTF should we do next ? keep in mind the current series that are now running or about to start so we have a good mix of racing here at SRO..
Thanks Norman , some good suggestions .. I do like the rocket bunny
I agree the day to night transitions are great... speeding up time helps showcase this.
My favorites are GT3, GTE, or LMP style cars, but I’m not too picky and will do most any type of road race (not an oval or rally fan, sorry).
Key for me is that Saturday time slot we had as that’s the sweet spot when my kids are napping / resting.
I have all the DLC. I had pc performance issues in PC2 but a pc upgrade has really helped. I'll race just about anything if it's in a good time slot for me. I like the idea of some day/night racing.
No DLC here, and I'm not much help since I havent drove much of anything besides the SRO races.
But weather changes intrigue me and transitions into dark would be cool if my eyes can handle it.
mates. what story about the KTM X-Bow? No DLC needed therefor.
I tested it yesterday, it provides pretty close racing.
Yes the X-bow is quite the machine !
I'm currently working on dates trying to get us a Saturday slot in the 21:00 hr, We could possibly get the last sat of Feb the 23rd (or march 9th) and then every other sat from there for a series .. once I here back we can start to figure out what to drive
I’m down for either date. The xbow looks fun
very happy to hear this mates.
only problem: The ACD guys and me (4 drivers) would be on the grid.
But: we cannot race on weekends. Just monday, tuesday, wednesday or friday.
If thats ok, please count us in!
I could do some saturdays, but I like racing with the ACD dudes; Mon or Fri would be my vote!
Well that's good because the Sat. dates are already taken ..
