    I though it was a 'normal' double file start, for some reason. My bad. (Been too long since I last raced here apparently :D)

    First race back didn’t go quite as planned. Early contact put me in the wall hard and had to put for repairs dropping me 2 laps down

    Started the race well found a good rhythm pace was good until i got spun by a lm hyper car who could not wait.
    The driving standards of some lm cars was terrible, You must have more patience and wait for the gt car to take the corner don't dive bomb your way through.

    I can't process the results yet, because a driver has taken himself off the sign-up list after the race, so I have to call in Mark Hightree to fix things in the back-end before I can run the auto-result programme.

    Thanks to everyone for a good start to the championship! The weather was a lottery, of course, I was wondering whether to put soft or rain on the pit stop. I was lucky that I guessed with rain, usually I have no luck with such decisions. I hope in the future there will be good weather without rain and snow, I want to enjoy the speed!

    In the server settings that you posted I see 5 zeros below the weather conditions, are these zeros the rain percentage? With “cloudy and drizzle” setting we have to expect rain even if the percentage is zero?

    Those are probability settings. If you leave them on "0" it's fixed. If you put a value in, you can play with the chance that it might happen.

    That depends on the real FIA WEC 2024 events and the weather in those events that we are trying to simulate. :)

    REVIEWING LE MANS HYPERCAR DRIVERS
    Disclaimer    : a dangerous LMH driver, is a driver who repeatedly endangers other drivers.

    You don't have to outright protest an LMH driver(s), but if you think an LMH driver is overly aggressive in his driving/overtaking and a danger to other (GT3) drivers' safety, please report it to me and I will put this/these LMH driver(s) on a watchlist.
    Dangerous LMH driver(s) will be reviewed by an Admin panel and, get a warning to clean up his/their act. If non-compliant, he/they will be asked to move to the GT3 class. If there is no room in the GT3 class, he/they will be asked to leave the series.

    If you want to report an LMH driver for dangerous driving, please send me a private mail with:
    - Name LMH driver(s)
    - Event
    - Timestamp incidents .... (do not base your assessment on 1 incident. There has to be a pattern of dangerous driving)

    All mails will be treated confidentially and processed without naming the source.

    Yes we did. Those settings were fixed. Putting a percentage in makes them variable. You will remember that the weather was like I programmed it.

    Sorry John, I don’t follow you, maybe due of my poor English. The rain percentages of the settings that you posted were all zero. So there should have been no chance of rain

    Maybe it’s clear, those percentages are not rain percentages, but they are the probability that the weather chosen will be or not just like that?

    They were not really at zero I think... but greyed out. So I personally thought it was 100% chance of drizzle... (plus on the practice server it was drizzling the 2 times I went...)
    Some clarification could be useful for next rounds tough.

    It was a great race for me, my first race in multiclass! It's intense from the start to the finish with all of the overtaking of the GT3 cars.
    Really enjoyed the race! I was nowhere near the aliens in front on a 1 lap pace, but.. everyone makes mistakes and I pulled out the best possible result in race :)

    View it like this:
    At zero and greyed out means you will get the weather you select 100%, dry, slight rain, rain, heavy rain, storm etc.
    When setting a percentage, you will get a probability according to the percentage you set, 20%, 50% ect.
    Whatever weather you set for each of the five segments e.g. 25%, 50% etc. is only a "probability" i.e. it still has a random factor to it.
