Cars still show up on the results screen after finishing in their positions? Just that you can’t click on them to view their car.

 

Was hoping not to use the shoddy in game UI for presentation. I pulled up the leaderboard to check the qually positions and it only showed 5 drivers around me. Assetto Corsa is defintely not kind for broadcast presentation.

 

I binned it in qualifying and thought I could get back to the pits but had two punctures on the right side of my car so I couldn’t move. Didn’t get a single lap in before that.
The more I drive this car the more I’ve realised that the physics and aero are a bit broken with drag levels. This track should have been a medium downforce circuit but low downforce was much faster if you could keep it on the road.

 

For those that watched the broadcast, can you let me know if I got your name pronounced right? Sorry @Kimi Martikainen I tried my best

 

First of all, thanks for commentary Neil. You pronounced my name alright, I´ve heard much more worse "versions"how people who don´t speak finnish pronounce it. First attempt was quite funny but after that it was almost fluent.

 

Broadcast and pronunciation was alright, my driving to so much.
First stint was horrible, no speed, overheating tyres and too many spins. After I bent my steering a bit, I thought it would be tough to finish. But changing to the hard solved the overheating tyre issue and reduced the amount of spins etc.

I drove 6/1 wing, presumably too much? I tried less in practise but never felt comfortable, so it will be hard to be more competitive next time. In that case, to the guys who lapped me, I always tried to wait for a longer straight to let you by, if that is too late, tell me and I will change that next time (although it would be better to avoid to get lap ...)
