    LMP2 & overtaking outside the track limits:

    I noticed that it's easy for the LMP2 class to overtake cars by going around GTE's (and P2's) outside the track limits, meaning with all 4 wheels.
    This is not permitted, also not for GTE's passing other GTE's.

    If it's observed (by broadcast, replay or a member's report) that you did this 3 times or more, you will get a 60 seconds time penalty on your end result.
    The equivalent of a Stop & Go penalty.
    (Avoiding crashed cars does not count as an illegal overtake.)

    IF YOU PUNT ANOTHER DRIVER, YOU HAVE TO GIVE THE POSITION BACK OR DO A DRIVE-THROUGH PENALTY,
    WHEN GIVING THE POSITION BACK IS NOT POSSIBLE ANYMORE.
    If you do not do so, you will be given a 30 seconds time penalty on your end result per incident.

    I’ve been so busy at work I’d lost track of this league! lol.

    Will probably give this round a miss (looks super full anyway) will try and join in from race 2.

    watching the ELMS race from Spain at the moment…..hmmmm…..feel a Spike the dragon livery popping into my head…. lol :)

    I want to thank SRO for putting on this multiclass series and using this Mod. I had passed these cars over many time while looking through the Steam workshop. My race turned out to be a super thriller as I tried to hold on to the podium of the LMP2 class, mostly due to some disconnects or people not finishing the race, but Peter Jones was chasing me down for the last 20 minutes or so and it made for a very exciting conclusion. I want to apologize to any of the GTE I gave a little tap too. See you all at the next round. :cool:

    Good racing yesterday my first race on Rf2 enjoyed it, is 7pm the start of practice? Then qualifying at 8pm?

    The passing wasn't too bad. Many times I had to sacrifice my line into a corner or all would have gone south if I had turned in. But that's to be expected in a multiclass race.

    It's 19:00 GMT for qual and 19:20 GMT for the race.
    On the event page (where you sign up for an event) you can see your own local time from your country.

    General tip:

    Turn your engine off if you have to pit for an extensive amount of time, or the temps will get too high and you could DNF.
    Of course, you have to map a button for the starter and the engine to turn it on/off.
    Also map a button/key to "reset" your FFB in case FFB is gone when going to the grid.

    Good race all, congrats to both winners and podium, I did have some contact with a GTE car, not sure who, apologies though, I think I came off alot worse. 3min+ Pitstop for damage, also got a 60second penalty for going wide in the last corner, out braked myself and rejoined the track. Bit harsh o_O

    Looking forward to the next one :cool:

    Congratulations, Toni, it was a confident win. It's a pity that Johnny Gutierrez is not racing with us, maybe he could help me set up the Aston Martin.

    I wanted to ask John - do I need to attend the briefing at TeamSpeak? I still won't understand 90% of what was said. But I understand quite well how to behave on the track and am no longer a newbie in sim racing and SRO racing
