The track is quite a challenge and very rewarding for those who survive, esp. with these cars. I love the historical precedent for this combo. It doesn’t seem the track caused any issues for the event. I’m most impressed with the drivers yesterday. Fifteen starters and 10/11? finishers. Wow. I particularly was impressed with the trustworthy drivers who were around me for most of the race: Romain, Phil, Michal, and Kostas. Thanks for some hard clean racing, mates. I look forward to meeting you again on the virtual tarmac. Cheers!
I made a mistake on my qually lap and got a clean start at the green. Everyone showed exceptional courtesy and restraint on that first lap. Then it was close battles and drafting for most of the rest of the race. I had a couple incidents that left my 250f a little ragged by the end, but nothing serious enough I could really blame for my pace. Thanks for the replay and commentary, Woodie.

Do these cars have different performance levels? Or all equal?

Noticed that the Cooper had the same straight line speed as other cars.

I tested all cars on Rouen 55 and the cars do all have a simulair topspeed there of around 263 km/h. Fuel per lap is also about the same between 2.39 and 2.49 L per lap.
The difference comes from the car handling itself.

    Hello,
I returned to racing after a year off and immediately landed the Rally Di Pescara.
Preparation was difficult for me, especially the first and second special stages. ;) So many attempts and such poor results. It wasn't encouraging. However, I was hoping for a boost of motivation during the race weekend.
In qualifying, no boost came – I ended up near the back of the grid.
I started the race calmly; the real goal was just to reach the finish line, but lap by lap I slowly picked up speed, and on the fifth lap I climbed to fifth place, achieving a blistering time of 9:03:3:cool:, and I wanted more.:)
And you know how it goes: concentration wears off and the race ends sooner. For me, at least one lap too early.:(
Maybe I'll try again next time.

Personally, I didn't enjoy it at all! I wasn't in the groove at all ,
    it's easy to see:confused:
(but would I be on another circuit?!)

Is it the cars or just the circuit?:(

A big part is the car. These F1 1950 are especially sensitive to the bumps in the road and you have to enjoy the challenge of it.
I tested with other cars, and the bumps were no problem at all. But this was a quest of endurance (which I liked).
