these cars are a blast to drive, they handle great, qualy was not perfect but front row was fine, to my surprise I had the pace of roman and managed to take the lead in turn 2 and then pull out a 8 second gap before the stop, only to be too hot on pit entry and smack the green tyres in front of the pit wall head on, had a 70 second stop fixing the damage, a win thrown away for sure, pedal to the metal after the stop but with the time loss could only manage 5th.
Decent race from me, managed a little bit of practice the day before but otherwise not much else, did the usual RF2 setup refinements…lol. Not massively off the pace but largely a lonely race, I didn’t crash or spin, not enough pace in the slow stuff (couldn’t get the hairpin right for example) but otherwise ok. thanks to Toni for the setup guidance, I’ll try it out at the same track later on to see what sort of difference it makes. I actually increased my rear wing to help in the stadium section. Lol.
