Two protests have been submitted for rules infringements which are being reviewed by SRO Admins. This could result in penalties being applied which may or may not affect the final race results.
Two members have been issued with Warnings for infringement of SRO Rules 2.7 & 3.1. Despite plenty of pre-race communication about abusing track limits, it was very disappointing to see from only a 10-15min section of the replay just how many occasions of track excursions there actually were from several drivers. Hockenheim is a track which can create these incidents easily due to the fast entry, tight exit nature of many corners, but equally they can be avoided by tailoring the speed of the car at those points. Further abuses in future races of this series, like those seen in this race particularly, will not be reviewed so leniently.
