    Is anyone finding this track very bright? I need sunglasses to race ;)
    Is there a fix to reduce the brightness of the textures. It's almost unraceable for me :(

    Looks ok for me Paul, Im not at all sure about how to diagnose what the problem could be, apart from try a re-install of the track?

    Looks ok for me, too. But I can understand Paul, it´s a bright track.

    Maybe it´s worth to change something on your monitor settings Paul? I tried some changes first to reduce the brightness and second to changed the colortemp from to cold. Was definitively better.
    But I don´t know if that helps you.

    As it's OK for most other tracks and sims I'll put up with it.
    Need to dig out those sunglasses :cool:

    DX9 or DX11 make any difference?

    May try that tomorrow Ken. Currently in DX11 :)

    Yes there is. If you have that very white glow and bloom you have to reduce a setting in the following file
    RFactor2>UserData>Config_DX11.
    Under [COMPONENTS] You can set different values for your Graphics.
    The EPostProcessingSettings can be reduced to 1 or try 0
    UsePostFX=1 or 0
    ShaderLevel=3
    File here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mh8gqaorjmzuhwh/Config_DX11.ini?dl=0

    DON'T COPY THIS FILE, BUT COMPARE THE VALUES AND FIND YOUR SETTING BY TRYING.
    So print this one, and make a backup of your original settings!

    It is very bright curbs and offtrack sand, I almost can't see where curb starts and ends. Looks like it overexposed offtrack area and difficult to handle with it. Wants some HDR profile, to extend dynamic range of image. (DX9)

    Alexandr, look at the post above, this also goes for the DX9 settings, you can set it to your wishes by adjusting those settings! Just play around with the values.
    AggressiveThread=0
    EPostProcessingSettings=1
    VideoRefresh=0
    WindowedMode=0
    Borderless=1
    RunBenchmarks=0
    FSAA=35
    VSync=2
    UsePostFX=1
    ShaderLevel=3

    Don't touch WindowedMode and Borderless and Runbenchmarks

    Tnx but that's do nothing. UsePostFX = 0 seems do no difference, but in DevMode track looks nice when you switch off HDR :)

    I'm guessing it's simply because the track hasn't been optimised for the new version of the game.

    Any white or bright colours will have bloom or glow to them unfortunately.

    I've found with the ASR cars the Goodyear tyre writing on the older models almost leaps off the screen, haha.

    Any older tracks I've downloaded have the same issues, white kerbing, etc. has a halo around it.

    I switch off all post processing effects, that controls it. Doesn't completely get rid of it but it helps.

    I've also found that if you run the races late afternoon it helps a great deal as well.

    As you say a 12pm race is a recipe for sunglasses :)

    Not an issue with the game, it's just the modding teams needing to apply the fixes.

    On a separate note, I'm on a rare holiday from the second job this week! :)

    I haven't driven the car before but I do a fair bit of F3 racing.

    I do know the track well though so if it's ok I'll add myself to the list, should be fine to make this as a one off :)

    Btw love this cars. Want to race with you tomorrow :cool:

    None of these suggested changes make any difference for me either. I agree with Andrew's post that it's because the original tracks have not been updated to DX11, which could be a problem after S397 switch development completely to DX11 only.

    Thanks for the info. Nothing has made a difference for either. :(

    Interesting car, seems below the level of an F3 car but once the tyres kick in the grip is quite good.

    Some way off the top time, but you never know what condition the track was in at the time.
