rFactor 2 Round 1 Nordschleife / Saturday 2 November 2019

I may not be able to race either. Currently got leg cramps and severe upper back pain. It may die down. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesn't.

I can't join the server. Receive the "Package Not Available" error. And I can't find in my packages the rfmod file for today race. Just some SRO files. I have the track, the cars and I checked the integrity of game files.
I don't know what I can do now :-(

 

Try deleting the SRO rfmod files in the packages folder

 

Done, deleted all. And when I try to connect to server just download a SRO file with no extension (in Packages).

 

@Paul Anstey, can you please move your rfmod files form packages and try to connect to server?

 

Try to unsub and subscribe again the cars and track.

 

Rename the file in the packages folder with the .rfmod extension
Go to the rF2 launcher, click the package icon on left.
The rFmod file will now show.
Mouse hover over the rfmod, and it will tell you what file is missing.

To expand for any others

When you try to join the server, and you get a package error


Go to the packages folder in your Steam / Rfactor 2 folder, and you will have a file with no extension...

Rename the file to add the .rfmod extension. You'll see the 'file type' change to show it is an rFmod

Go to the rF2 launcher packages folder (sort the order by clicking the INSTALLED header) and you will see the rfmod. Hover your mouse over the rfmod and it will tell you what is not installed.

Well I must admit I am falling apart. Seven weeks ago it was a knee strain, three weeks ago a back strain. I may have to take an extended break from sim racing and spent some months actually exercising.

I will be relaxing with a muscle relaxant beer as you fellas work hard.

Half fun.

 

I've unregistered from the race. Been dealing with an intermittent heartbeat, and today it's decided to go off on me again. I feel like I'm missing a cylinder or two.

Right from practice, through qualifying, and in the race I had absolutely no grip whatsoever. It was like driving on sheet ice. I have no explanation for this. I checked to make sure I had my setup loaded which this morning was working fine but for some reason this no longer worked. I am mystified
