Oh the CARNAGE ....
Lets clean it up a bit for round 2 guys ! allot of innocent drivers got caught-up in a few early mistakes .. .. remember if you have an off you must wait for the track to be clear before re-entry ..

Other than that I thought the racing was fantastic ! these cars reely perform when you put the hammer down ! good fun ! !
My Q was a suprize ! I had spent the night before pushing to break into the 58's so I was quite happy with P4 -
The race was intense from green to checkered ! from my position I saw the 2nd & 3rd place car's trading paint already threw T1 small parts were flying off and going by me ! OMG i dodged a bullet ! AS few turns later the carnage above was in my mirror so i was relieved to be in one piece !
I was on the harder tire going 2/3rds of the race for as long as they would last then stop for soft's & a splash .. NOT parc ferme locked the fuel strategy ! (fixed for round 2)
My strategy was working as I watched the leaders all pit ,looking down all my tires still in the green . I looked and was now leading the race ! .. I knew it would be short lived as my pace was not of the leaders so to say .. after a breif few laps out front Ricardo flew by me like I had a piano in the trunk .. however the gap to 3rd was large enough for me to pit and come out holding in 2nd ! That's where parc ferme got me ... my original pit strategy called for 10 gallons like 30+L or so idk , anyway the fuel loading to a painful 84 seconds ! wtf ? 84 frikin seconds ! are they using a tea spoon ? lol so there went 2nd ...then 3rd .... then 4th ...lol oh add the 11 sec's for the tire change total 94 sec's I did manage to battle back to steal 4th back at the end ,it was never a dull moment for me ..
Can't wait for round 2 at Toban Long .. in the 2012 car (no DRS)
Admins have been very forgiving in round 1 , it will not happen in round 2 so please be careful.
And please read the rules ignorance is not an excuse. If you hit another driver unintentional or not you do a drive through if not you will lose a lap that goes for all championships.
Is there a race log available, ie. Position lap by lap, pit lap, lap time for each lap, etc?
Go to the Championships page , click on the DTM champ ,click on round 1 , use the performance tab to check all kinds of stats .. also you might be able to look back from the live racers tab for detailed info ,use the "live timing" tab on the top frame of the page ..
If you are interested in lap by lap detail for yourself or another driver, you can click the Report link from the Event page. It is the last column in the Event Results table. Note that some simulators do not provide detail lap information.
