I will mention the formation lap double file in the next Patras drivers briefing, Thanks.

Yeah I didn't mention anything in my post as it was the first race anyway but the P2 start was maybe a bit messy. We were single file through some corners which is to be expected but coming under the bridge the formation wasn't great and we didn't really go until the actual start line (rather than the final corner). Ok for us up front but not sure how it affected those behind us because of the bunching effect, etc.

However the gaps between classes at the start work well because if anything does happen then you do have some room and time to react :)

On another note which may interest those who like endurance racing on RF2, the same group that brought us the IMSA DPi's (and are currently redoing most of them from scratch) have been working with URD on some of their Assetto Corsa mods.

Being released on the 15th January the (ahem) Moyoda Hypercar which is great news, nice to have some modern machinery to race with.

Whether it will have any of the hybrid activation I don't know, I don't think it would unless they have found someway of simulating it with the RF2 engine.

I think they are working on a Rebellion clone as well, but haven't heard too much about that one recently.

Yes it's a paid mod but only a few euro's so no big deal to me. I will agree though that URD can be bad at updating things, they never used to be but I think real life got in the way too much recently. So this partnership is good news.

Maybe that was the mis-understanding. In the drivers briefing it was explained that every class would start when the class pole sitter crossed the startline.
Double filing was to be done coming to the last corner under the bridge.

    No Shows

The following drivers were no-shows for Road Atlanta. That is a shame because the more drivers, the better.
But ... if they no-show for a second time without un-registering, they will be removed from the series. I have to keep the signup list accurate.

    Marcos Junior
    Alaoui Nassim
    Fabrizio Boletti
    Sami Aho
