I was asked ro share setups since drove mant of the cars ok. So here is my reply:

"Well i drove all other cars with same specs.
    Suspensions 200ish front and rear.
Fast bumps and rebounds 3. Slow bumps and rebounds default
    2 - 16 wings.
And tyre pressures front default and rear minimum.
Key is soft breaks to have control and not lock. This is personal but smooth braking and corner entry is key.

So there is not much of setups there :)
These need gentle hands and feet. They are beasts and should be treated accordingly lol.

And you just cant use pedals like on off. Its smooth off both gas and brake or you upset the car.

And brake pressure 80% 52 front 48 rear. This is personal taste. Just make sure u can smoothly brake into it.

I haven't tuned the car as of yet but will.

I'm not fast but I also think I'm not that slow. Some won't understand what I'm saying and some will. Most won't care what I'm going to say. Either way I really don't care. I just like racing :)

I say, in order to succeed in racing or anything in life, you're going to have to fail. Fail a thousand times before you reach that win. It literally took me years to even reach a podium, let alone a win. I was always last and failed for years @ R2P. I remember getting emails and getting yelled at by Tim for doing stupid moves on the track. I was literally last in all my races for years. But here I am running mid to upper pack in these races. Why? Because my sorry ass failed at the beginning..

I say this because as of lately, I've been hearing people on here quitting or saying that they're going to stop racing because they're just not fast enough and this isn't for them as they're always running in the rear. I say keep running in the rear because sooner or later you're not going to be there. The best memories I have were when I was running midpack. Never the wins.

Yes I'm going off in a tantrum but if you feel like quitting, just keep going and enjoy the ride and the finish.

I have no problem giving out my setups at all I'm always on the practice server. Just ask. I don't bite.

Toni is giving out a setup. Run with it, practice with it and use it. It's gold!

Sorry but I had one of those days at work lol.

@John vd Geest is the server set to heavy rubber? single player session feels alot faster than server

Single player is faster. You always want to practice on the practice / race sever as this is more correct. I still don't understand why Factor does this.

not true, if server is set to heavy rubber it won't be faster than single player, ofc we are talking 0 AI
and i personally don't like practising on server to avoid been spied on :D

Maybe we're saying the same thing? I always thought the practice server was slower but the better server to practice on. Last time I practiced on my own was in the rfactor 1 days. Good times!

Come on, world peace is not at stake. Let the slower guys learn from the faster guys. If people can't handle the car, they will leave the series.

    2. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    1. You run out of fuel in pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
    2. You sustain damage to your car as a result of another driver and cannot make it back to your pit stall. You must prove your qualifying session was wrecked by another driver and that you made an attempt to return to pit lane.

If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    3. Silverstone Conditions
    1) The race will start at 02:00 PM (in-game time of course)
    2) Time acceleration is normal
    3) The race will be 100% dry

    4. Formation lap and rolling start.
Right after leaving the last corner, we double file in qual order. When the pole-sitter crosses the start line, the race begins.

    5. There is a mandatory PIT WINDOW to change all 4 tires between 35 and 25 minutes to go until the finish.
Even if you pitted before the pit window, you still have to pit during the pit window to change all 4 tires.

    6. The pole-sitter will do the formation lap approx. 120 km per hour.

    7. The server password will be changed on race day. You can find the password for the race server on the Silverstone event page.

    8. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

    9. You can find the server by first typing sro

    10. Please use the same name in the rFactor 2 game as on our signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

    11. Last but not least ... SIMRACINGONLINE wishes you a great race!

No, we'll do a formation lap and rolling start without the safety car.
There will be no safety car during the race.

okey, how are we going to do that, i think the safety car is there by default on the formation lap

We are starting the formation lap without the safety car, like a standing start.

That was a short race for me. Fun while it lasted. I was downshifting for copse, like I've done a thousand times and for some reason my gearbox found itself in first gear and that was it for the engine. I've never done that before and now suspect a shifter issue. ugh. Hope you enjoyed the race. See ya next time.
