Assetto Corsa Round 1 St Petersburg

Use Windows File Explorer and go to ..\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa
You will find the files listed in the respective paths shown i.e. for the 1st file surfaces.ini look in ..\assettocorsa\system\data\ and so on for the others

 

I've re-added the missing file to the download which I thought I had already done but clearly it was missing. Please delete the car from your content folder, redownload and install it https://simracingonline.co.uk/resources/vmw-hillman-imp.797/

Sorry to mess you all around, but please retest after download and let me know.

 

The file is in the ..\assettocorsa\content\tracks\st_petersburg_2003\data folder. I've checked the download and it's definitely there.

 

A nice entry shaping up. Looking good for a "return to AC" race

Pit lane speed limit is default AC @ 80kph and the sim enforces it automatically, but a pit stop should not be needed I don't think

 

The track version we are using does not model the actual curbs at Turn 5 that were in place at the time and instead only shows a red line. To avoid any confusion you should treat that line as a track limit line as we normally do in all our races and keep 2 wheels on the actual track surface at all times. In other words a maximum of 2 wheels over the line on the left. These images show both the mod and RL for illustration.

Anyone who doesn't understand correctly, please make it known here before the race. Repeated "cutting" in this turn will attract post-race penalties.
