Before I upgraded pc, I had a lot of microstutter in VR.
I used a little program called 'OculusTrayTool'.
Ran that before starting game, and in the settings of OTT, I locked the FPS to 45 (Default AWS Mode) and that helped a lot with the stutters.

Without doing this, Oculus tries to display 90fps, but when it is struggling, it automatically drops down to 45fps, then back up to 90fps etc

Personally, I couldn't see any graphical difference with it locked to 45fps

Yeah I do have an oculus..was wondering g about running ott with steam vr..I seem to remember being able to lock it at 45 in steam vr settings but now the performance settings in gone now only the slider for ss.
