I try it couple of laps and got 1.18.274, with default setup (only gears changed). Here is a video. Can't say what is wrong your driving without seeing it.

thanks for taking the trouble to do this
Looking at how you drive I am still not using every bit of the track
I will try default setup with my gearing and give it a go
Many thanks as this gives me a good idea where I am going wrong:)

Martyn, it will be you vs me for last place. This car is a disaster! This thing can't even pull into a parking space without sliding. You'll need to turn off your force feedback as you will need to be whipping your wheel from one lock to the other.... several times in the same corner! ... definitely NOT my driving style!
And... you're suppose to be running with the default setup, you're not suppose to adj the springs.... and most other stuff.

There you go Martyn. Watch how I use the gears and correct with the throttle and brake. I let the car stablize first before shifting down. Also helps with keeping the momentum up through the corners. Look for early exits where you can put the power down fully like in the video without having to lift.

This is the setup I used. Only changed the stuff we can:

Thanks for the setup.... I looked at it and funny thing... those rollbars your using, those exact sizes, don't come up on my standard settings. To get those exact numbers I have to edit the ini file and not use the bar adj inside the simulator.
Took some laps, regardless of the RB settings I am about .4 sec more or less to my original setup. I changed the gearing to my setup as I was more used to practi with them.
I'll still be at the back, these cars, all of them, are way to loose for me. The BRM does have power out of the corners though, if you can get it to the pavement, it will close on most of the other cars.... it has 2 engines! ... if only it had 4wd!

Can't explain that. It's the car & game. Are you using something else then the metric system?

I'm pretty sure that it should work. Only issue I can see would be wrong car or wrong version of the car.

As Laurent stated, its probably due to having the wrong/different car, and different cars have different suspension stiffness, so you should not be changing any .ini file, you can try to have a similar stiffness instead of the exact numbers, it may work if you are lucky, but i doubt it will, because all those settings depend on the engine placement, suspension geometry etc. of the car.

Fabrizio Ferrante & simone porcu have not done any laps on any of our servers … so no GUID's.

Unfortunatley therefore, their names can not be locked to a car and they can not be activated on the server.
You can only get on the server if you are locked in with your GUID info. Otherwise anybody can take someone's car, and we would be in trouble :).

I did some laps with Eagle in the server. One time you were also into with Jukka. Maybe something went wrong on server-stats, no idea. I'm sorry. My GUID is 76561198040147785

If someone does attend and I'm able to race, do I need to do anything before joining the race tonight?

That can't happen now, because we don't have your GUID info. It would have been possible if you had done some laps on the practise server this week.

Unfortunately Mac before you become a green light a driver needs to unregister then you will become a green light and can enter the race, Annoying I know as most do not unregister if they can't make the race.

As of car you will take the car from which the driver has unregistered.
John will clarify this when he comes on to the forum.
