    Seriously? What was that?

Lap 2, Turn 1: I was in first place, and a guy just completely took me out. What a stupid move.

After that, my car was completely destroyed. I was losing about 3.5 seconds per lap so just a DNF.

Thanks to the genius who did that.

I apologise if you consider that I took you out, I didn't see it quite like that, but anyway I'm not gonna get into an argument about it. Sorry

didn't arrive in time for qualifying, so i started last, P13:rolleyes:. i had a good feeling with the car and started my recovery. i struggled to come back on the 2nd and 1st, but thanks to regular lap times and the length race, i achieved to make contact and pass the p2. unfortunately, i overtook P1 because he had a lag and left the track. i apologise for contacts or weird lines, as i was lagging when i was around opponents. i don't know if it was my connection, or the game connection. whatever, congrats to all for the race and, from what i saw in the back at the beginning of the race, drive safe guys and girls !!:D

SRO Rules require members to run on our servers using their real name i.e. Member name and not an alias, nickname or a.k.a
    https://simracingonline.co.uk/threads/use-your-real-name-for-events.2109/
It is your responsibility to ensure that the sim, Steam, profile name etc. is configured correctly before joining our servers. This can be checked easily enough by joining a public server and checking your name displayed. If its wrong, fix it before joining our servers. Using the wrong name breaks our results processing system, requiring additional work to fix it. The time spent doing this can be spent more productively at SRO elsewhere.

On this occasion I am prepared to fix the results so the two members who didn't race using the correct name will still be allocated points int the series, rather than being DQ from the race. To help me to do this who is :

    maupeva14
    Grom1

Yes Ken, I'm Grom1. Sorry I was late, and I couldn't figure out how to change this name.
And same thing for maupeva14 who is Maxime Perotti

I am not an Admin, but even if your complaint is justified, you should mind your choice of words...

Apart from that, I can empathize that it does not feel great when you are pushed around, as it happened to me too example in the first lap turn one, lap three turn one or penultimate lap last turn. Anyway, not much harm done - the mentioned lag in the third to last lap on the hand was way more costly. The screen froze but I could still here sound of a car going over gras. But you cannot really stear if you have no clue where the car is, that came back when the smacked the wall hard.

But yeah, I need to be grateful that this did not take me out. I even stayed in the lead but I had serious damage on the front right corner, which made it impossible to defend anything. I also offered Csaba to pass me, but it seems he wanted not to pass like that. I will remember that gesture for sure.
It was a good fight between us before, after Brian lost the lead going wide into turn 2, we had an intense chase. He could have tried a dive-bomb or something like that, but we kept it clean and I avoided the mistake that he was forcing so hard. The he faded a bit, I first thought to cool the tyres and start another attack. That was not the case and I took the opportunity to save some fuel, that brought Maxime back into the mix and the described lag.

Had a great start into first corner, a few cars went wide and off track. I found myself in 1st place after 2 laps. The second corner on the left hander on the downhill caught me out twice. You can see the rubber marks and the tyre smoke as i was sideways and recovered the slide and fell into 3rd. A few laps later I lost the rear again and spun off. A good fight with others and good clean racing giving room to me and vice versa. Looking forward to next race and hopefully keeping the mini off the grass and keeping it facing in a forward direction.

Great racing fun :) I do think these AMS2 series are great for tight racing, any mistake and it can put you way back as folks are lapping very close in times.

I qualied at the back but times were close mid field so I thought 'stay out of trouble' and dont make any mistakes and see where I end up. Got lucky with others issues up ahead and lost out to a faster Ken who reeled me in. Then it was close for a lot of the race with Ken ahead and Gerhard behind. Got close to Ken again but not to be. Managed to save some fuel somehow as well, although I dont think it was needed in the end.

Grats podium and to Ken and Gerhard for great racing

Enjoyed the close racing for many of the laps too, but I was worried most of the race about fuel. Whenever I tried to lift/coast to save fuel I made tiny errors which didn't help my confidence. At the finish line I had 1 litre fuel remaining .
